I am a fairly serious runner and I run about 50-60 miles per week. I have used this shoe for everything from trail runs and runs in the snow, to everyday use. This shoe has lasted me over a year now and is still doing an awesome job. I had no trouble breaking in this shoe; they felt great the first ...

I've got blister from insole and took 40-50 miles to break-in... I almost throw this to trash can. But now it's one of my favorite shoes after all. just take some time.

Fantastic shoes-went back to them after trying the 2007 Pegasus. They were to say the least, horrible.

Bought this after my Saucony's gave out last fall. They only last two months with alternating wear. Absolutely hated the Pegasus when I firt got it. Could not make it comfortable. I persisted. I now love it. A little rigid but I have adapted. This shoe will also go the distance. I got a seven ...

Love these. I liked the 2005, and like the 2006 even better. I'm even a flat footed runner, and these fit me fine!

Wed, July 18,2007:
Nike once again has taken a 5 star 2005 shoe and so completely changed it in 2006 it should have a different name. There is no doubt the newer model is stiffer with less rebound and flexibility. Too bad. They've once again left serious runners in the lurch in an efort towards mediocrity. Footbox is ...

I've logged two runs in my Pegs and already found that the folks who complained about the stiff insole are exactly right. However, I replaced the factory insole with a flexible aftermarket insole and it's a whole new world now. Did 5 miles with the new insoles and it was a blister and hot spot-free ...

I've run in several of the Pegasus. This one is an improvement over the last model. It has better cushioning and is more stable. I have put over 200 miles on the current pair. It seems to hold up so far.

I've run well over 1200km's on these Peg's and loved every km. Finished 2 Oceans in SA, and that was the end of the line for them. Just bought a new pair.

they got it RIGHT with the Pegasus 2006 - good cushion, "return" and support. Out of the box, a PR on my daily 10K. Thanks for the fit reminder.

I'm pretty critical of running shoes. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I feel shoes are more expensive and last less long than 20-25 years ago. The current Pegasus is the correct shoe for me. Great cushioning and sole wear. Nike got this edition right, unlike the previous two year models. Nik...

I enjoyed this shoe a lot. So much that I bought two pairs. I use them for my everyday training shoe and I have no complaints even after 20 mile runs. They breathe well, wear well, and let you know when they're about to give up the ghost, which is about 350 miles for me. It's not pefect though. ...

After many months of trying to adjust to the 06 Pegasus, I have deceided that I do not care for this shoe. It is stiff and heavy, and it is not as comfortable as previous versions. I have started wearing the Hayward. It is comfortable, light, flexible and well cushioned. I have also found that i...

Running for 20 yrs, with infrequent knee problems but developed runner's knee with these shoes(40-45 mi/week). The fault may reside in shoe's stiffness which is not a desirable feature for under pronators.

I guess I was not patient enough, but I could not handle the fact that it will take 4 weeks to break in these shoes! I am back in my old reliable Sauconys and I won't give them up.

I've been running in the Pegasus for years. I run ~45 miles a week and weigh 160 lbs. The 2006 Pegasus is a full ounce heavier than the 2005 model! It also doesn't have the rebound I like so much in previous models. Bring back the 2005!

Well, I am glad to see I am not the only one, was worried maybe I was just too sensitive. I also had the insole crease problem, never an issue on "short" runs, but on a half marathon, felt like I had a pebble in the inside of my right foot, created a really bad blister. Ended up being a crease in ...

I have been wearing Peg's since the 2002 model and have always been very happy with the ability to put them on out of the box and have no real break-in time. My first run in the 06 Peg's was absolutely miserable! The arch on my right show was so high and stiff that it made the run very painful. I go...
