I was not going to comment, but seeing the number of positive responses I wondered about their source. It could very well be that different feet, different running styles, different results, who knows? But I have been wearing Pegasus shoes for as long as I can remember, 10 years? Short story, I did ...

Peg user since 1988. Worst edition ever-no cushion, quick sole wearout. IPOD insertion fouled up cushioning. Nike, fix the shoe or stop making it. These are an embarrassment to the Nike brand name.

I got my pegasus 07 as a gift and was worried of all the bad reviews I read here. Thats until I got the chance to tried it out myself last night. The shoe is comfortable through out my first 10k run. A lot of cushion on the heel and flexible at the mid and toe area. But it felt slightly heavy ...

These shoes are an embarrassment to the famed Pegasus name/brand. Peg is the best selling shoe in history. They're too heavy, especially in the heel. The cushioning is screwed up by the ipod sensor. On the plus side, the soles are durable and the overall fit is great. Come on Nike, these Pegasus' nee...

Thu, March 27,2008:
I run about 2000 miles and about 5 marathons a year. Thus I usually go through 4-5 pairs of shoes anually. The Peg is one of my favorites and has been for several years. They do take a long time to break in (150 miles) but hold up very well. I am unhappy with the very bulky collar on the 2007 sh...

Worst ever. Knee pain and shin splints. Never with the older models. Time for a new brand.

Tough crowd. I'm 6'4",225 lbs and I love the shoes. Just enough cushion and after long runs (10+ miles)my feet feel fine.

07's are a Nightmare. Counting down the day's until the 08's are available. Wonder if the Peg's will be available at the Boston Expo? Yeah, I hope the Shoe companies realize that putting the plastic crap in the arch is a BAD thing, Not a GOOD thing. Keep the midsole flat, like they made in the 70's...

08 info... If you look for it, there are pics and some chat of the Air Pegasus + 25 design. They're coming out in June, July availability. The new design has returned to a full length air unit (how??? considering it's a +), it's an oz. lighter and has a flater outsold as companies start to exchew t...

Now that the 08's are about to drop I thought I'd add a second review. I'm not paid by Nike, I not a Nike fan, I just run in what works. As someone else posted, I think the big difference is the split air units necessitated by Nike+. For people who need cushioning, the front unit seems over-inflated...

the worst running shoe ever made.

How could this shoe pass the initial plan stage? Don't they test shoes before they are made and sold to the masses. Nike listen up. There is no way A neutral shoe shouls almost weigh 13 ounces. Here is my wish list of the new Peg. The upper needs to be in the design of the new skylon. Very lightweig...

Miss the 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003 etc. Nike got it wrong in 07. Knee pain as the miles add-up. Will switch brands if I can find the same support as the 2006 Pegasus. What happened? Is the chip? The Pagasus 2007 won't be represented at the 2008 Arizona Ironman. Late

A got a reply from Nike suggesting I look at the Alaris as a replacement to the 2006 pegasus. There is not much info on this shoe around, anybody know about it?

Used Pegasus since 1986. Recently switched to Vomero. They feel like the oldtime Pegasus did. They're $108 vs. $76 for the Pegasus-50% more. They're worth it. The Vomero actualy had shoe laces long enough to tie-not like the short Peg laces. That small thing, the short laces, told me Nike could care...

I am a high school senior, and will be running for the University of Michigan next year. I have trained very hard in these shoes (upwards of 80-90 miles a week) and i love them. I am very critical of the shoes that i wear. Since i have been using these the daily aches and pains i use to have, hav...

Absolutely the worst shoes I've used in 45 running years. No and I repeat, no cushioning at all despite what Nike says. Only fools and runners desiring injury should buy these abominations.

Had some extra pairs of 2006 shoes. Great cushioning. Tried my first 2007 pair. Not happy, no cushioning, felt more sore the day after a run in them than in 40 years of running. Heading to the PO to send mine back to RRS. Come on Nike, change the shoe back to the way it used to be. Admit you messed ...

Enjoyed latest posts. Thought I was the lone wolf critical of the Pegasus. Used to get 600 miles, now about 150 at best. I've written and called Nike. The customer reps are fine, they take your input; but nothing happens to overall shoe durability. I chalk it up to corporate profit/greed/stock price...

Ryan, Congrats on Twin Cities. Great Run. As you can see, you are a rare exception, only a few who likes the 07 Peg. Keep in mind, I have been a long time Pegasus Runner for 20+ years. I used to be able to get 600 miles from the Peg's made in the 80's- early 90's, They have been going down hill eve...

6' 160. 3:06 at 2007 Twin Cities. Keep the complaints coming. I just got two more pair for $100 because everyone is hating on this shoe. I've worn the last five versions of the Pegasus and have never really had any shoe related injuries that I've had with Saucony and Asics. The Peg has definitel...
