3.	designed for women? rated this product 5 stars Fri, October 31,2008: lol @ these designed specifically for women. They are however a great running shoe. You have to get used to them because they are designed differently from normal shoes. If you have been wearing shoes that "compensate" for the way you walk, then these aren't going to work well for you right away.

I'd been doing a little "barefooting" but decided I prefer something between me and the road. These are very flexible and encourage mid and forefoot running. I would give five stars, but they are a little difficult to pull on.
