Huge disappointment, the toe box is so small it feels like a narrow width and pushes on my pinky toes which don't have much cushioning also. Why the sole can't be removed to add some cushioning just makes me thing Nike has some very unhappy employees engineering their shoes. The fact that it looks so good make it that much more infuriating.

Hands down, the best MC shoe I've used. I can see why the small toe box would be a problem for some runners, but for my feet nothing's been better. I weigh 185 lbs and the cushioning has been ample. I will miss this shoe and doubt I'll find one that measures up.

If things sound too good to be true than they usually are. The cesium 2 may sound like the perfect motion control shoe due to the weight. The cesium 2 only weighs 10.2 ounces but that just means a lot was taken out in the process. I recently bought a pair as a light weight trainer and I completely regret my decision. After the first mile in these, everything went down hill. The small toe box and upper caused massive blisters and bleeding of the small extremeties. The experimental arch support is not responsive what so ever. If felt as if there were wedges inside of the shoe. Also, the cesium 2s caused an unbearable pain up my shins and into my petella's. The last factor is that they have a built in sole, so it is almost impossible to insert any type of insoles. I recently took them back to roadrunner and exchanged them for a pair of the nike elite + 4s. That was my best decision made in this whole ordeal. My advice to those whom are considering ordering a pair is that you s

If you really want to determine whether you have a severe pronation problem purchase this shoe, because if you do not, a severe running injury could result. The over compensation and correction overtime will overstress the normal muscle function of pronation and this shoe will become unbearable to run one step in. IF THE FIRST TIME YOU TRY THESE SHOES, AND THEY FEEL STRANGE, SEND THEM BACK!!

Over-rated/priced - better that it is endangered. Very light shoe, but inadequate cushioning. I am 6'1" and 175 lbs with flat feet. The only way I've been able to run in these shoes with reasonable comfort is to insert blue "Super Feet" - which barely fit because the Cesium insole is not removable ...

Good support and chushioning, very stable but nice smooth ride. Awkward to walk around in (varus wedge slants feet outward) but natural feeling on the run. Fits very small, especially the toebox width - gave me bloody, blistered little toes, so I can't use them. I would advise sizing up a full size or 1.5 sizes. Nike should make this one in widths, since a lot of motion control shoes are used by larger runners. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs, moderate to severe over-pronator.

I weigh over 200 pounds and am about 6'0". Despite my size, I have been able to wear this shoe to train and race in, they've held up OK when I have rotated wearing 3 separate pairs the past 12 months plus; I just switched to 3 new pairs that I got at a good discount, so I got about 1226 total miles from all three pair in the rotation, about 400 per pair. The keys though are that I ran a 3:15 marathon in them despite weighing about 200 in April, 2007, and I have stopped using my orthotics without any trouble relative to that, although I have had trouble with my right little toe getting badly chafed on occasion despite sizing up a full size, which I recommend on the original model at least. It gives me enough control and forces my feet to work a bit on their own.

Loved the first generation Cesium. These have the same great motion control arch, but feel more stable. The are a bit less comfortable than the original, but seem to have better cutioning and feel more solid overall. I expect to have many excellent short/medium training runs in these

I have gone through a number of shoes looking for "comfortable" control. The Beast didn't work for me, Mizuno Renegade 3 worked pretty well, but I was still looking for something a little better. I am 170 pounds and 5' 9'' so I guess I fit in the light guy category. But the shoes really work for me.

I am 150 lbs., but severely over pronate. These are wonderful lightweight shoes that provide a great correction. I ran a marathon in these and matched my personal best, but with much less pain than wearing Asics racing shoes.

I love this shoe. It is light and supportive in a way that is unobtrusive. I have run two marathons in these and have felt very little soreness or pain afterwards (beyond a little muscle soreness). Give them a chance, they are inovative and a revelation for my running

Typical Nike product built for the little guy. Toe box so small it drew blood from toes rubbing. No motion control whatsoever. Two trips drew discomfort in shins and knees.

I bought a pair of these at an online auction and have been wearing them off & on (mostly off) for about 2 months. At first, I thought I'd get used to the internal arch support but it is still bothersome...so much so that I can't wear them more than once a week, for a short (4-5 mile) recovery run. The heel is already showing signs of compressing and the outersole is getting very thin. Had I bought these at RRS, I would have returned them soon after I first wore them. I'll stay with Brooks Beast until Nike returns to making the Air Durham or a comparable model
