I am an older runner (I prefer to think of myself as mature). I am 5'11' and weigh about 155 lbs. I have always worn shoes in the cushioned category, but as I have gotten older I have found that I needed more support. I have been wearing these shoes for 6 weeks, running distances of 5 to 12 miles...

Just started wearing this shoe 2 weeks ago. I wanted a light weight, reasonably cushioned, stability shoe and this was recommended. I have several 6 mile runs and a couple 8-10 mile runs on these so far. So far, I am impressed with the weight, fit, cushioning and mild stability. I will be curiou...

I use this shoe for long distances (8 miles and up) and it performs just great. I did 12.2 miles last weekend and I could have kept on going. The support is there and I really like the snug fit. If you prefer more room in the toe box, try the Brooks Axiom.

Great shoe for the combination of stability and light weight. That said, cushioning wears out rather quickly and I can only run about 250 on a pair before I really start feeling the road. Keep coming back though because I can not find an alternative that is stable, light and wears better.

Good shoe except for the ipod insert. I enjoy the first 6 miles or so, but after that I could feel my left foot getting bruised. I agree with the guy who stated they were good, just not for long runs. Unfortunately, that is what I bought them for.

There most def is a front air bag in the 4's. I should know I am on to my third pair! Great stability for a relatively lightweight trainer although I can't wait to try the victory+ in a month or two!

There IS a zoom air unit in the forefoot in this version. Nike has replaced the full lenght air unit with two, to make room for the Nike+ chip. Just finished the Stockholm Marathon in these shoes: Light, fairly stable and extremely responsive and my feet felt just fine after the race.

RRS needs to correct the description of this shoe. It DOES NOT have a forefoot air bed. The AirZoom Elite 3 did. They took this out in the 4 so they could put in the Nike ipod disc. This makes a HUGE difference...the 4 does not compare to the 3 that has full-length zoom air.

Been out on 4 runs in these shoes, and I love the cushioning. An excellent, light shoe and I'll be buying them again. Great for shorter runs (5 miles or less). Just missed getting 5 stars because shoe seemed to limit upward range of foot movement.

My everyday shoe is the Air Structure Triax. I wanted a shoe for track speed work and tempo runs, but was a little concerned about stability. The Zoom Elite+ 4 met all of my expectations. It's more snug than the Air Structure Triax, but that lends to it's faster feel. The support is every bit as goo...

Great tempo/interval training shoe! I have a medium frame (5'11', 168) and this shoe has just the right cushioning and stability support. I've made significant gains in my 5K and 10K times. However, I would not recommend it as a long distance shoe.

Great shoe, feels super fast, with a nice amount of cushioning. Seems to actually feel better the faster I run.

Great shoe for pavement. Shoe fits great in the mid-foot and heel. Very bouncy for fast or slower runs and super light.

I have been running in these shoes for a few weeks now and they have been good to my feet. They are a nice change of pace for me from the Structure Triax, lighter and a bit more snug in the forefoot. Just not as responsive as I would have hoped, but overall a good shoe for me.

This is a very good trainer, although it makes a few compromises in its design. However, all design is a series of compromises. 10.7 ounces is a big selling point for this shoe, because it provides a plush and cushy feel as well. It also provides more arch support than you would expect, a lot of

easily the best shoe i have run in. very light, very fast, very comfortable, and just as fresh looking(even looks fast!!). zoom air puts a spring in the step to make you want to run faster and longer, also makes for a smooth landing. the waffle fill outsole provides great traction and holds up nicel...

A very nice shoe! Light, fast, smooth; you wanted to run fast yet feels substantialy cushioned so it feels good if you're running slow or fast. This shoe reminds me of the old air anodyne a few years before the air structure triax. The best part is it stable enough but does'nt get in the way like the ...
