Good lightweight stability shoe, particularly if you wear orthotics that add weight to shoes. Am prone to stress fractures on metatarsal ridge - shoes have ample cushioning in that area.

I HATE these shoes! Got talked into them by a specialty running store. Huge mistake! I usually train in a light stability shoe. These feel very stiff and clunky. I have never had a good run in them, and so I now wear them only for plodding along on recovery days.

Best shoes ever. I have had ankle problems since I can remember and this shoe is the perfect compromise between stability and cushion.

First official running show I have ever owned, went to the store fitted twice, need to help out the plantar fasciitis, these shoes are like a miracle, note I did add some store bought insoles that are a bit firmer, but these shoes fit like a glove, they totally mold to your foot and are stiff shoes, support from here to the stars!

I bought my first set of Zoom Elite's before the Berlin Marathon in 2006. I can't wear another pair of shoes, I've tried and nothing beats them. I'll never buy anything else, I only hope Nike never stops making them.

I was wearing Brooks Adrenalines 8 but that stability was a bit much for me, switched to these and ran a full marathon in them with no problems! Will definitely buy another pair

Ran through 2 pairs of Air Zoom Elite 3, just purchased 2 pairs of the Elite 4.
These shoes are comfortable, light for those long runs, with just enough stability. Ran 3 half marathons in 3 months, and well over 250 logged miles out of the last pair.
Tried so many others , but this is the only sneaker I use now. Just right for this over-pronator.

I find these shoes comfortable, responsive and exceptional shoes for long and short workouts.I am now onto my 6th pair and will stick with them as long as Nike keeps the essentials asthey are now.

Best cushioning I've experienced in a performance trainer. Forefoot cushioning is exceptional. I'm a die-hard asics fan and was hesitant to try Nike...but I love them. Forefoot is slightly narrower than I'm accostomed, but hasn't caused any blistering or problems.

I have been wearing Asics for a couple of years but was having ankle/arch issues with the Gel Trainers. These are just a touch heavier (still very lightweight) and provide more stability and "security" for my ankles - especially when running on dirt/gravel trails.

Wow, I love this shoe...wore Asics for the longest time but the recent models were killing my feet and knees. Always thought that Nikes were too narrow for me, but these are perfect, supportive.
