LOVED the 2, bought 3 pair, they didn't last too long but great while they did. Went to the 3 last May and developed an ingrown toe on both feet. Went back to the 2 for my fourth pair and now I can't find any!

they feel really comfortable BUT they caused achilles problems for me as well after about 100 miles, which took a month to get over. I've never been injured before, so now I only wear them once a week to play capture the flag/ultimate frisbee. Biggest waste of $120 ever.

Switched to these because the Nimbus 10 were terrible. The Vomero+3 have more toebox room, soft ride, and comfortable. So far so good.

CAUSES ACHILLES PROBLEMS. I trained about 200 miles on my first pair of these shoes and had no problems. The cushion was great and very comfortable. Then, a week before the Marine Corps Marathon, I tweaked my achilles but it was nothing major and I just assumed the shoe had worn out. So, I purchase...

I'm a 6'0" 180 lb. heel striker and was so excited the first time I tried these shoes on. They fit great and there's so much cushioning. My excitement quickly turned to frustration and disappointment.I've run in these shoe's about six times trying to transition from my Saucony Triumph's and each tim...

I loved the Vomero 2's; got almost 450 miles out of them and owned two pair. My 3's totally crashed at about 270 miles. I just finished my first 1/2 marathon and my Vomero 3's died somewhere in the midst leaving me with hip and foot pain. I'm a bigger runner at 6'1" 190 lbs. I'm going to switch ...

I love this shoe. I started with the original Vomero, which I also loved (although it was too tight in the arch). I think Nike has steadily improved this line. Runners who need stability should not run in the shoe. This shoe is specifically designed for neutral runners who want cushioning.

The vomero is a neutral shoe!! not a stability shoe. so of course it is not going to feel right if you need stability. The cushioning and ride of this is incredible!!! It also brought the fun back in running for this 230lb horse!!! enjoy!!!

I ran the Boston 2008 marathon in them for the first time and surely will give theses a five star rating. the shoe is constructed to take up alot of the shock in the heel and forefoot. really great control. I'm a heel striker. I would certainly endorse this shoe........

As Billy D wrote earlier, I also tried these shoes (first Nikes ever) and ended up with Achilles tendinitis. The pain started after about 110 miles in the shoe. A sports podiatrist aslo suggested that I try a stability shoe, meaning that this was not the correct shoe for me. If this shoe is the t...

why can't nike make their premium cushioning shoe in a wide width? great shoe but doesn't do me any good if i can't fit in it! i take the sole out and run. still good cushioning. more widths!

I have gone through 3 pairs of the Vomero series, my first pair was the 2nd series and the next 2 were the 3 series. I fell in love with this shoe because of the first 2 pairs. The 3rd pair started out great, but after about 150 miles there is a seam inside the shoe at about the midfoot area that ...

6'2" 165lbs, Vomero+ lost support way too fast. By 250 miles I was getting hip pain. Didn't attribute it to the shoes because they were still so new. Big mistake. Incredibly comfortable for the first 200 miles, but too expensive for such a short life.

Major changes--major disapointment. This is my fourth pair of the Vomero series. Three were earlier versions, I got the Vomero 3 in August...it sucks. Nike redesigned the heel strike area significantly. As a result, it wears out quickly. I'm a moderate heel-striker (7:30-8:00 mile pace) and wit...

I was running in the Saucony Triumph 4's with no complaints except that the cushioning diminished over time. I tried the Vomero 2's, but thought they were too squishy. So it was with a little hesitance that I tried the Vomero 3's. LOVE EM! Heal and mid foot is snug. Toe box is roomy. Plenty of cush ...
