I liked running in the moto +6 at first, however, after a couple of weeks I started developing severe IT band issues that I had never had before. It may be coincidental, but I changed to Saucony (the base of the shoe is wider so I think I have more stability when I land and push off my feet) and I have been able to gradually get back to running with my IT band feeling much better.

This is the first pair of Nike shoes that I have purchased in 10 years. I trained and ran my first 1/2 marathon in them & NEVER had any complaints with this shoe. I did purchase one half size up from my usual size. This pair is the most comfortable running shoe that I have had in years.

I love these shoes! They have just the right fit. Plenty of room in the toe box and lots of cushion for those longer runs. I have been training for a half marathon in these and they are by far the best pair of Nikes I have ever owned!

I loves the Moto 5s and was real disappointed in the 6, it's shorter and hurts the foot so I went up a half size, now on longer runs my toes hit the end so I am going to have go go up anothe half size. I just wonder why NIKE can't make a size 7 a size 7 instead of in one model you wear a 7 another a 7.5 or 8

This could be the perfect shoe if it weren't for the plastic design on the outside. It makes the shoe uncomfortable (unless you like that "I wrap my midfoot in ductape when I run" feeling). This shoe could be perfect if it wasn't for that one detail. I wrote a previous review, but after the first run I had to return these shoes. If Nike took the Peg+25's fit and the Moto Max 6's cushion, it would be the perfect shoe. I would buy many pairs!

So far so good with these shoes. I am 5'7", 145lbs and have had trouble finding a good cushioned shoe to train for 1/2 marathon. I need a wider toe box and was really disappointed with most of the shoes I tried; even the so-called D-widths of the New Balance and Asics felt tight. I must have tried on so many shoes, until I tried the Max Moto 6. Very comfy and roomy in the toe box. Even roomier than the D-width Pegasus+25. I had a pair of the Moto 4's and were very happy with them. The reviews for the 6's were driving me away from trying on these shoes, but that just goes to show you that shoes that work for some may not work for others.

I agree with Tonya. I have only worn these shoes a couple of days and I think they are absolutly wonderful. They do run a little short so I would order up a 1/2 size.

I have been running with this shoe for three months now and they are wonderful. I don't understand all the bad reviews. This shoe is very light and I can run forever. I did have to go up a half a size for the perfect fit.

I thought it was all in my imagination! I have purchased and loved the Moto 5's ( had purchased 4 pairs before they were changed), then when I purchased the Moto 6's I ran one time in them and HATED them. I had to go up a half size and could not stand the pressure that I felt in thru the arch. They also seem to cut off the circulation to my toes. I am very disappointed in this new generation Nike and have been forced to start all over again by finding a new running shoe!

Been wearing MaxMotos since gen3 and been so happy. I thought it was my imagination when my new 6's felt different. BUT when my toes all went numb in my exercise class yesterday, I realized they've been changed. Now I read that other's have noticed the tighter toebox! Wish I'd gotten a 3rd pair of the 5's. sigh. Huge disappointment!!

What a waste of money. I went through 3 pair of the Max Moto 5 but these don't compare at all. The other reviewers are dead on with the loose heel and tight toe box. These feel like 3 month old shoes, not new ones. Try the Brooks Ghost, 10 miles out of the box, better cushioning and much lighter than the MM6.

I called RRS and asked about the fit before I purchased, I was told they fit the same at the moto 5. They do not they are a lot shorter in length and the the mid foot is wider, they are going back.

After researching online reviews until 3am last night while nursing a throbbing knee and agonizing corns on two toes, I decided to put out my own review...wish I'd thought to look online before purchasing. I used to have the equalon but the price was rediculously high and it fell apart on me anyways (sore knee, overpronation support failed quickly). I thought I'd save a little and bought the Moto+2 (a gorgeous looking purple logo one, goes to show you shoes that perform like um - excrement - can be gorgeous to look at). These seemed a bit smaller in the toebox, I settled because it was so very cushioning - loosening the shoelaces gave a relief. Well I got what I deserved - if you think something might not be right, always go with your gut and toss it back on the shelf. Within one week the damn Moto gave me extremely painful corns on my pinky and second toe (one foot, are the sizes consistent!?) Stay away from it. Now I'm trying Brooks adrenalines $50 less! And optimistic

The Moto IV and V fit me perfectly, but the new footbed on this shoe makes it unwearable for me. The toebox is shorter, narrowerer and lower, while the midfoot and heel are wider. My toes felt crampted and uncomfortable while my midfoot felt like it was swimming in the shoe. It is also lower to the ground. The Moto 6 is so completely different form the previouse models that it doesn't deserve the same name. This is probably the worst fitting running shoe I have ever tried on and Nike claims it is based on years of researching women't feet.

6 miles out of the box and the run felt effortless. Never had this feeling with any other running shoe. My legs never became fatigued. Superb cushioning. Toe box is smaller than the Asics Kayanos I've been wearing, but didn't cause any problem. They feel lighter and more flexible than my previous shoes. Extremely comfortable shoe.
