I've used Nike for years and have have mixed success with shoes, but mainly very good. This sneaker is one of the best that I have used. I'm good about logging my miles and usually max out at around 400 miles but this shoe is over 600 and the cushioning is still good. I'm logging on now to buy two more pairs. Another bonus is that they are grey and hold up well to outside running. Too many of these white mesh shoes get so dirty looking so quickly, you hate to wear them, but these look as good as the day I bought them. Very highly recommed this shoe. I'm a guy who could wear a 11.5 or 12, depending on the shoe, but I take an 11.5 in these, so if you are like me you should err on the lower end of the sizes.

You cannot go wrong with this one.
They wear fast, but a little shoe goo will do the trick.
I am a bit light weight for this shoe, at 145 lbs.they would be perfect for a heavier runner from 165 - 210 lbs. greatest ushioning and roomy toe-box.

I am so impressed. The older nike shoes used to be very narrow and uncomfortable. After having plantar pain in the sacony triumph 5 (with less than 150 miles), I switched to the air max moto and all pain went away! I have flat and wide feet, but my feet fit into this shoe perfectly! If you have a custom orthotic, it fits into this shoe very well. Plan on running in these shoes for miles to come!

I put well over 200 miles on the V's. The VIs seems to break down much more quickly. Overall a good shoe but, the V's was a great shoe.

I too put well over 300 miles on my pair of Moto Vs and loved them. I have not been as impressed by the Moto VIs. I have put only 150 miles or so on them and already need replacements as the padding in the heel cup has completed eroded. Other than that, the VIs just do not find the same level of cushioning or stability as the Vs. Not a bad shoe, just not as good as its predecessor.

Underated shoe. Great forefoot cushioning. Fit better than the Moto 5. Durability very good. 400 miles+ and counting. This shoe is a bargain.

Put 300 miles on each of my moto 5's, no issues, have almost 200 and 150 on two piar of 6's and I've been having nothing but achilles, lower calf, upper foot tendonitis issues. I think maybe a subtle change had a drastic effect, for me at least... will be looking elsewhere next

This shoe stinks Nike!Go back to the moto 5 Why did u take out the ball of foot cushion in the insole? Why did u make the tongues way too short? Why did u make the upper so tight that it cuts into your foot? Why did u ruin a perfectly good shoe?

As the Air Max Moto line continues, it has become more about style (Lance Armstrong? This isn't a bike, so who cares?) and less about substance. I've never had so many problems with my Achilles and plantar fascia than with this latest rendition. Oh, and Nike will NEVER figure out how to make non-slip laces, so I've always replaced those or used lace locks. I'm thinking it's time to try an entirely different brand, again.

Very happy with this shoe as my first one after getting back to serious running after a decade layoff. Great comfort until mile 300, then achilles started aching. Bought new pair and the pain is gone again.

Definitly the worst shoes I have ever had. Run 40 miles and could not break them in. Feel like wearing stability shoes. Lack of flexibility and feel very heavy. Too much pressure at the back on my achilles.

Sat, August 30,2008:
Great shoe. Classic Nike cushioning features - PU heel unit (rare these days), EVA forefoot with Max Air and Zoom air respectively. Really good and underrated shoe, particularly for heavier runners who need the durability and cushioning of PU. Not sure what the other comments are about fit, these feel pretty similar to the Moto 5 to me. Great fit, great durable cushioning, look good and cost a fraction of similar shoes (Nimbus, Creation etc.). What's not to like ?

Wed, July 23,2008:
The cushioning aspect was still nice with the moto +6 but if you liked the moto +5 because of it's upper styling that was more relaxed and forgiving and slightly more freely allowed the foot to determine it's own natural position within the shoe, then try these moto +6 on at the store first to make sure you like the curvature that the newly styled upper locks your foot into and the overall new design before you buy.
Definitely a "no-go" for me. I will stick with the moto +5 and when I can't find anymore of those to buy I will then move on to find another shoe. The way the new moto +6 fit is so drastically altered ought to preclude it from being called a moto at all because it now has such a different fit. It might confuse a lot of people who buy these because they are Nike air max moto shoes without trying them on thinking it will fit like the moto +5. It should have just been introduced as a new model and not an upgraded version of the moto model. I had to return both pairs

These are as good as the 5's but they took out the ball of foot cushion out of the insole aka sockliner. The heel is just a little bit softer and the forefoot is about the same.My only compaint is whe i got done running i looked down and the tonge had moved over alittle bit on my> foot.So there not as wide as as the 5's.Did 6.5 miles in my 1st run in them today!
