Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

Nice Shoe. Too narrow for my foot, though. Disappointed in my "Fit Expert" who recommended it for me as I train mostly in the Pegasus, which fits well, but could use a performance boost. Nike should make a shoe for this segment..high arch, narrow heel, wide forefoot. I'm not an animal, I'm a human being!

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

FINALLY! The Skylon is back. For a 6', 170# former NCAA runner and pro triathlete, there is nothing like a light, cushy narrow shoe that takes a full orthotic without feeling like a brick. The forefoot gets a little loose on 200m repeats on the track, but the fit and feed more than make up for any deficiency. Have begun to stock up on extra pairs.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

I like these shoes: light, snug fit, firm cushion, reasonably stable. A great shoe for speed-work and racing. However, as a tri shoe, the upper material is abrasive to the feet when running without socks.

Firmer that the previous version, but they work well for me as a go-fast shoe. I like the fit, comfortably snug. Unsure about durability as I have only had them for 3 weeks, but I don't usually expect that such light shoes will last as long as regular trainers.

Bad upgrade again (to stiff, due to the +-module?) I have been running in Skylon since 1991, but the two latest upgrades have been disappointing. The one I liked best was bought somewhere around 2004-05.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

I'm on my second pair now and I love them. I've run three marathons in the same Skylons (Steamtown, NYC, Boston) and also recently started using them for more training runs too. They are very lightweight and provide a nice, smooth cushioned ride. I personally have high arches and slightly narrower feet, so the slimmer arch area and more compact toe box really work for me. This is a performance shoe, so don't expect much in the way of support. There's also not much in the way of tread, so use this shoe for its intended purpose: running fast on reliable surfaces.

Terible!!!i use to run in the air zoom miler, but that was discontinued, so i chose the skylon's as a replacement. i really like the air zoom versions as i wear orthodics and they provided great support and cushion. this "downgrade" really ruined the shoe. they are very hard on the feet and lose their comfort and support factor. i agree with other post, + module uograde really affrected this shoe in a bad way

my favorite shoe. i've run in the previous version, and i think there's no question this one is more flexible and mroe cushioned. upper fits great. i just strap em on and go--no need to wrench down on the laces or anything. they do wear out kind of quickly--after a couple hundred miles--but, it IS a lightweight performance shoe, so that's expected.

Amazing shoe!!Great update Nike. I feel it lower and softer than the previous version which improves the stability and the cushioning. For a narrow foot it really feels like a gloove. After wearing the precision, speedstar (really good too)and tangents I think this's the best in its cathegory. Really good job Nike, Vomero, Elite, skylon...not a coincidence don't you think?

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

I usually need performance stablility shoe as I have flat feet and at 158 lbs, though thin, I thought these may be too lightweight for me since they are racers. But they looked good and at free shipping and almost half-price off I gave it a try and bought 2. These are firm, responsive, fit like a glove and seem to have enough support. I'll use them for my shorter quick runs and so far I really like them.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

This shoe feels light and fast with decent response for long mile intervals and other longer distance training. But the left shoe fell apart after only 80 miles and I'm a feather weight at 5'8", 128 lbs. Man, why does Nike charge so much for garbage that doesn't meet normal quality control? Man, I guess I'll need to stick to my trusty Adizero CS which cost me a fortune since they wear out so fast.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Skylon+ 2 Running Shoe:

I had completely written off nike for running shoes. However, this shoe has been a pleasant surprise. It is very responsive, with nice cushioning and a nice snug fit. I have been looking for a replacement for my Mizuno Wave Rider 9s and this comes as close as anything I have tried. They work best for tempo work, but I have done longer runs in them with no problem. Given the materials, I am not sure that this shoe will be very durable, but I will enjoy it while it lasts.
