This shoe has a pretty stiff heel, one that took 4-5 mid-distance runs to break in. I had some pretty solid blisters after the 1st couple of runs. As a forefoot striker, I'm satisfied with the shoe now and prefer its light weight and solid design. It's not the best shoe I've had but it is more th...

Sun, November 16,2008:
I returned these after running less than half a mile. There is a goofy band of stiff fabric on the upper that runs from the laces down to the toe, and every time I pushed off that band pushed down on my toenails. The shoe just doesn't feel right in many ways: the soles are stiff; the uppers are insu...

More for looks than performance. They have little cushioning and are just waiting to give you an injury.

This is a fairly stable shoe, light-weight with firm cushioning. I have no problem with blisters on my achilles from these at all--could be because I land mid-foot instead of the back of the heel. These would be excellent for forefoot strikers, because the heel is not high.

I am returning these shoes. Nike needs to work on selling some shoes that don't blister your achilles. These shoes are totally worthless.

I to got a blister in the achilles area and have to use bandaids when i wear them. They're very light but give plenty of support. The tongue is made of a flimsy piece of material. it is easy for this to get folded when lacing. If it weren't for the blisters I'd give them 5 stars as they are othe...

Like the shoes. Tried the new Skylons, but they did not fit my heel well at all. Was a little scared of these, as the heels on the shoe were very stiff -(compared to a standard shoe like a Vomero or a Cumulus) However, they broke in nicely. Fit snug, but not overly so. Like the cushion on these,...

I have about 25 miles on these shoes. Cushioning is a bit on the firm side, an advantage for faster paced runs. I got a blister in the achilles area. The uppers seem rather stiff with less padding than other shoes and may need more time to break-in.
