This is a case of "Goldie Lockes and the 3 Bears." The Equalon 1 was more of a motion control shoe-Papa Bear. The Equalon 2 lost support and were too cushy-Mama Bear. And now the Equalon 3 is just right-Baby Bear. It has nice support and cushioning but not too cushy. Is a bit stiffer than the E...

Runs more stable than the equalon 2 and the cushlon is somewhat more supportive, but the shoe is still too soft for larger runners needing stability, IMO. Nike needs a durable shoe like the equalon 1 for larger runners who overpronate-just get rid of one or two of the shox models and substitute an ...

Been looking for an upgrade to the Triax and found it in this one. Only run in it a few times but can feel the stability AND cushioning throughout. Very nice!!!!!
