This is my first time in the model, and I love them! I was wearing the Women's Nike Air Pegasus + 26, and those are great shoes (the pegasus was nice, but these have a better structure for my over-pronator & high arch feet)!! This is an affordable option for runners with larger frames. I'm 5'9" and 160... I run 20 to 25 miles a week - on the road. This shoe offers a little extra support & my legs & hips thank the shoes for that. Great shoe!

I have run 2 marathons, and just qualified for Boston in this shoe. Since wearing these exclusively, I do not have sore feet on my long runs. I have narrow feet and these shoes prevent my heel from sliding or feeling sloppy. I have over pronation so I use superfeet greens with these. So comfortable with great support. Love them. Plan to run the Boston with these!

Nike has a great shoe in the Equalon 3 and I really like how it hugs my foot when running. Running 31 years and being a New Balance fan, I decided to try something different. However, I did notice that the ball of my left foot has become painful. I naturally assumed it might be my foot since I'm an older runner but after reading your other reviews I decided to write one my self to let Nike know there may be something to these reviews regarding the left shoe. I have order new running insert to see if this corrects the problem. My right foot is not experiencing any problems.

I love my these sneakers and had no problems except for an occasional blister and bruised toes b/c of how hard I was running. I would highly recommend this sneaker to any woman with a slightly wider foot upfront, but narrow heal in the back. It's not for real wide feet, though- It's not designed for that foot profile.

I love the new Equalon 3. I ran my first half marathon and they didnt cause me any discomfort. I always use them for my long runs and I alternate with addidas salvation.

This shoe fits smaller than the Equalon 2. I should have gone up a whole size. Other than the sizing this shoe has good support.

This is a great shoe! I ran my first marathon last year and wore Muzuno Nirvana's and I had terrible knee and shin splints. I changed to the Asic Kayano 14's and thought they were great by they gave me ankle pains and felt so big and clunky. I cannot believe how great these feel. I cannot get over the support with how light they are. My knee, shin and ankle pains are all gone. I did have to put my SuperFeet insoles in for the extra arch support which helped with the extra soft landing. I do wish I would have gotten a 2A because the toe box is a bit big for my super narrow feet. Other colors would be great too. :)

I actually love this shoe a lot. The posts on motion-control shoes tend to give me blisters on my arches...but I haven't had any with these shoes. The cushioning feels so good, as do the soles. I guess it's all about your own, personal fit. I generally wear 10.5 in running shoes, but I'm going to go with 11 for my next pair.

WHAT HAPPENED!!I have been a loyal Equalon shoe wearer, but the Equalon 3 are awful. I agree with the other 1 ratings. Blisters, numbing, shoes are to tight. I just feels a whole size smaller. Very disapointed, would hate to look for another type of shoe and not Nike.

Love them!! Runner for many years and have always loved Asics, but I fell in love with them during my first run. They made the width just right for people with wide feet and the stabilty is great. Highly recommend them. Happy Running!

The Equalon +2 was the first shoe that gave me the support I needed and I stopped having aches and pains after the run. I hate the +3. They make the toes and right side of my right foot go numb after a mile and doing a long distance run in them was torture. I've tried everything - different lacing, insoles etc. but it doesn't matter. A total disappointment and I can't even take them back as they got muddy during my first run in them. If you liked the +2, don't buy these.

I ran in the Nike Air Zoom Eq # 2 and it was wonderful with great cushioning. So I tried Nike Air Zoom Eq 3 and found the shoe ran shorter in size and it also gave me blisters on one foot every time I ran in them. The shoe did not work for me and I had to return them.

I am a new balance loyalist (1223 was my favorite) and hadn't run in a pair of Nikes since 1995. However, when the NB1224 came out, it was awful, so I tried this shoe. I love it. It is comfortable with great cushioning. It also has a full sock liner which prevents blisters. I'm stocking up on them! Buy shoes 1/5 size larger than your usual running shoe.

THese shoes are terrible! I have been running in Equalon =2 with no problems-loved the shoes! Sending the +3 back after one run! Would someone tell the VPs at Nike to stop screwing up a good thing with all of these so called improvements! I may never buy Nike again!

I have run in this "same" shoe for 6 years(when it was the Kantara) and this one is by far the worst. My left foot goes numb on my second toe. I have attempted lacing differently and come to find out it is something related to the NIKE ID thing in the left shoe. The right one feels great, but I really liked the Equalon 2. I am going to try something new for the first time in 6 years. Good Luck!

These shoes started out great, but the left shoe developed the most annoying squeak with every step. Returned the shoe and the sent back as defective. Now three weeks into the second pair the same thing is happening. There is a defect in these shoes where the +3 ring is located!!!!

I love these as they are extremely lightweight yet give the cushioning and support of a heavier shoe. These are not the hottest looking, reminding me a little of nurse shoes but from the moment I put them on, I felt like I was running on a cloud that was responsive and not sluggish. I am heavy for my height and they will save knees.

These shoes are great. I recently switched from mizuno to nike and was worried I wouldn't find a good fit. These shoes took a few runs to get used to, but now I love them. Worth every penny!

Recently I've been getting bad shin splits about 10 minutes into my runs. I'm 120lb and run about 10 miles a week. I've tried many stability shoes for my over pronation, but I've finally found one that works for me! These shoes are great. They fit snug in the heel and are roomy in the front. The heel has great cushioning, which might not be preferred by those who don't like the cushy feel. I've tried the Nike Structure Triax 11 and the Asics Kayano 14, and these shoes are so much better! The cushion of the Kayano's were too hard for me and there just wasn't enough cushion in the Triax.
So if you're looking for a well cushioned stability shoe that looks and feels great, this is the shoe for you.
