I absolutely love my Gore Tex shoes! I live in Montana and run throughout the entire winter. I have never had wet feet, while wearing these shoes.....I have even wore them in place of snowboots to the ski hill! If you are looking for a shoe that will keep your feet dry, these are perfect. I can't believe that they are on sale now! I think that they are as comfortable as any Nike shoe that I have ever bought.

These are fantastic shoes. I am an over pronator and I have always had foot, ankle, knee, and hip pain as a direct result of wearing the wrong shoes. These shoes have completely eliminated these problems. I am a former competitive runner and was completely devoted to their predecessor, the Nike Air Triax Structure (I bought 2 pairs per year), and now I’m devoted to these.

Horrible shoes. Very stiff, not good for walking or running.

Exactly the shoe I was looking for by all the features listed! There is no comparison even close to this shoe. It will take some time to break these in, though. Will post a second reply soon.
Thank you.

I bought these shoes to keep my feet dry during the wet Washington winter. They are a very comfortable walking shoe, and they do a great job of keeping my feet warm and dry. We got surprised with 2 weeks of heavy snow, and still my feet were warm and dry. I wore them to run in the snow with good results for a few days. When our roads became icy, running became impossible. I'm ordering a second pair, because summer is a long way off.

This is a trail shoe, built to stand up to mud, puddles, and uneven terrain, so it's heavier than anything you'd wear on a treadmill. I've worn it on mid-distance runs (4 to 8 miles) the mud and snow without complaints. It's a little warmer than a road shoe in the winter, too. The only downside for me is a little heel slippage, but it's not bad.

I bought these for walking around NYC and they are fine. Would never attempt running in them. They are a good walking show with lots of support. Plus the Gortex is great in the rain.

I have never reviewed anything before. These shoes deserve a comment, they have to be the most stiff, uncomfortable, clunky pair of shoes that I have ever had on. I tried to run on the treadmill with them and I eneded up quitting. I did not like these shoes at all.
