With these shoes I have ran in 8 marathons & half marathons this year (09) and trained in these for this whole period. (trail runs I trained with Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 ESC) I finally retired them recently @ RNR LV. I’m 5’10 - 220lbs+ Clydesdale type runner and these shoes are the best for me. I tried Brooks & Asics Motion Control shoes and Nike is by far the best fit for me. Heading to RR’s this weekend to get a new pair. Love these shoes. They are definitely “Big Boy Friendly”

I Love this shoe. My first Nike anything in a decade! This shoe is light and supportive. As soon as I put it on I knew running was fun again. I'm ready to stock up on these!

Great MC shoe. It's actually almost the same shoe as the Equalon 1. Light, supportive, and durable, I already have over 400 miles on my first pair. The only complaint is the grooves in the outer sole are so deep they pick up and hold onto rocks...BIG rocks...if you run on trails. Other than that it's a really great shoe. DON'T CHANGE IT, NIKE!!!

This is a revision of my prior 4 Star review. I'm retiring this shoe from running after 140 miles. The height and width of the sole at the heel alter my foot strike too much. I normally have no wear on the heel area of the Structure Triax, but there is wear on the Nucleus MCs. The toe area of the outer sole is already wearing down to the white of the mid-sole. Also, the heel cup is way too loose as I stated in my first review. Bottom line--not the shoe for me.

Too squishy for my liking. Although I realize why some may like it, I thought it was too squishy for my liking. Besides that, zoom air made my calves dead for some reason.

Really great motion control shoe. Not too heavy, and has a lot of cushioning in both heel and forefoot. Highly recommended.

Supposed to be a motion congtrol +. but did not fit my foot at all. Too narrow in the toe width area and heel cup did not hold my heel in well at all. Blisters on toes after one short run. I haven't tried Nike for ten years and wanted to try one. They are still too narrow.

My first run was a little hard (pounding). The second was better. I can't fault the shoes b/c I didn't look at the "body frame chart". The MC+ class shoes are for runners over 180 lbs. and at 165 lbs. I noticed an early strain on my lower back and leg joints. The shoes fit well and I believe after a few miles, they'll break in to work well for me. I've run with Asics, Mizunos, Saucony and now Nikes. My best and worst pairs of running shoes have been the Asics Gel Kayano. The Saucony Omni 7s were a close second best. These companys change their shoes so frequently that every purchase is a crap shoot.

I have only one issue with the Nucleus MC+. The heel fit is not as snug as the Stucture Triax series. For a motion control shoe, it feels light and does not have a clunky feel. I'm not sure if I'll buy another pair because of the heel fit.

I'm a pretty light weight runner-- Male 150 lbs, but I overpronate and put a lot of concrete/asphalt miles in every week 40-60. I've been a Mizuno snob all these years, and "lo and behold" the shoe I've been waiting for all along is made by (DANG) Nike! Come on! What a dream. 8 years of chronic shin splints--history. Cushioning very balanced. Support--serious as a heart attack but not noticeably stiff. Durability, you can pound these shoes for at least 300 miles --no sweat.

Finally! nike has a shoe sturdy enough for me. The surprising thing is how well it fits and cushioned it feels.

The nucleus' midsole is the same as the equalon 1, one of my favorite shoes, and fits pretty much the same, but has a better upper and insole. If the equalon 1 worked for you, the nucleus should as well. Nike finally has a motion control shoe back in its line. Ride and fit are great for my feet-more supportive and to me responsive than the new equalon 3 which is better than the 2 but is still too soft for my tastes.
