Reviewed by 40 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-20 Previous | Next » Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: The Nike Air Pegasus has been my goto running shoe for several years now. Several pairs of both the +2007 and +25 model have kept me injury free while training for 2 marathons and multiple shorter races. Unfortunately, the changes in the +26 are not favorable. The height of the toe box is now much lower causing the fabric to rub on the tops of my toes. I am so disappointed that I have to search for a new running shoe. Sadly, I will be returning this model. Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I've worn Nike Air Pegasus for many years, but the +26 seems to have a wider heel, causing heel slippage problems. Not sure if it's coincidence, but suddenly having knee problems while wearing these new shoes. Pros

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I've purchased the Pegasus for the last four years, and the +26 is a great immprovement on a sound product. It is lightweight, and perfect for us runners with high arches and boney feet. I am also a supinator, and I find its support is exceptional. I took advice from a friend who had purchased the latest model, and got the 1/2 size up, only to go back and get my true size. I felt the 1/2 size larger was too loose, and I noticed the heel/ankle support rubbing too much. I don't have that problem at all with my true size. The Pegasus is truly the best running shoe. I have worn Sauconys, Asics, Mizunos, Brooks and other Nikes, and I always go back to the Pegasus. I currently run 2-3 miles daily during the week, a 3.5 one day and a longer (4-8) miler on the weekend, and I can usually stretch mine for a year. Even training hard-core for a full marathon, so averaging 30-mile weeks, they've lasted nearly a year! Perfect shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I have been wearing Pegasus for a long time except when they took a break from them. I was excited in 2002 when they brought them back as most my running injuries knee (ITB) and foot (plantar fasciiitis) went away again while running in the Pegasus. I am an avid runner including training for multiple distances. I am a supinator with a fairly rigid foot. I found these wider in the heel and toe box with not as much support in the mid foot, although i am wearing them i have felt the tightness in my feet coming back. I wish Nike would stop changing these shoes. Might have to search again for another shoe to replace them, disappointed.
Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I have always loved Nike Pegasus shoes Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: This shoe doesn't have enough forefoot cushioning for me, plus it hurt my knees and feet for any run over 3 miles. Pros

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I wear these shoes with my arch supports, love the cushion and dependability. Tried on other shoes for my next pair...nothing better then these! They don't rub on heel and have good support. I run mostly on the road, so I am unsure how they would run on the trails.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I would recommend these to the average runner but these shoes do go the distance and with ease. Nike does it again and better.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: These shoes are the best. I can take them out of the box and run 10 miles and my feet are great. I do have a wider foot and narrow heal. The fit for me is perfect.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I have tried many different shoes and I always come back to Air Pegasus. They are so comfortable and accomodate my narrow feet. I have run two marathons in the Air Pegasus and I would not trust another shoe for that long of a race.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: Switched from ASICS Cumulus line (after 4 or 5 pair), looking for a change. Reasonably comfortable, but less forefoot cushioning than the Cumulus. Have not tried on a long run yet, so don't know if that will be critical. Arch support is good. Overall, a decent neutral shoe, but not sure I'd buy again.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I am a long distance runner and in addition, take a variety of gym classes (Step, Pump (full body weight training), Attack (high impact aerobics), Spin (cycling) and Combat (mixed martial arts). The Nike Air Pegasus is GREAT for running and has been great for all of my other classes. I love this shoe and buy multiple pairs each time I order. I am glad Nike does not drastically change this shoe (besides small upgrades) as they do with some other shoes.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I love these shoes. They feels like I have pillows on my feet. I think they are slightly on the wide side but with the usual inserts I put in all my running shoes they are great. I would definatly buy them again.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I have bought the Nike Air Pegasus for years! It is one of the running shoes that has the most value for its dollar. I have a number of foot related issues, but these shoes provide the support and comfort to keep me running. These shoes have gotten me through my university cross country team trainings and training for a half-marathon.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I have a borderline wide foot, the toe box opens up and fits my foot nicely. I have a neutral foot strike and this shoe works great for me.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I run almost daily and I've tried other shoes, but always come back to the Air Pegasus. I perfer when they don't have the mesh at the toe area, but that's because I tend to lift my big toe up when I run and it eventually will wear a hole in the mesh.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I really like this shoe. I run in a hot, humid climate, and this shoe really breathes. It doesn't feel too heavy, but the sole has excellent traction. The shoe fits my foot snugly, but not too tightly. I am also excited about using the Nike and iPod insert that syncs with my Nano. There is a spot in one of the shoes under the insert to put the sensor in. I think that using this technology will be a real asset in my training.

Comments about Womens Nike Air Pegasus + 26 Running Shoe: I run on the roads, on dirt streets, as well as sand and dirt trails and have found this shoe performs well on all terrains. The Pegasus has enough cushion to be comfortable on the road, but enough stability to be great on the trails.
