Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

Most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. Never been a fan of Nike, always like Asics but after putting these on, they are the best shoes I've had in a long time! I am thinking of getting my second pair soon! Very impressed and would recommend to anyone (even with a wide foot like me).

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

I personally think that the lunarglide is an absolutely unique yet universal shoe. The lunarglide is a perfect trainer for those who seek varied support yet still being very light. The best feature of this shoe is that it very comfortably fits neutral through lighter cases of stability users. I did a tempo right out of the box and they felt great. The Nike LunarGlides are very highly recommended.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

I can't recommend these for a true neutral runner. I could definitely feel the "Dynamic Support" system pushing me to the outside of my foot like a stability shoe. Not saying it couldn't work for a neutral runner, but I didn't like it. Also, the toe box area was too sloppy for me. I've sent them back.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

Haven't ever worn a stability shoe like it before. Very comfortable and stable when you need them to be. All my other stability shoes feel like overkill after having run for awhile in the Lunarglide. Ran my first 10K in them last weekend and knocked off 4 minutes from my best time this year. Highly recommended... I now have 2 pair!

By JimT

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

Whoops, meant to add a couple other things ... I actually dig the colors (blk and orange) and I have a wider fore-foot that usually meant a running shoe built for a wide foot. These Lunarglides are just right and as I said earlier, no hot spots or rubbing at all. Additionally, a previous commenter suggested these over-correct or provide too much stability for an over-pronator. I couldn't disagree more and would suggest that person double check either what shoe they're talking about or what pronation actually is. This shoe is almost neutral in it's gait with just the right amount of stability for a mild pronator, such as myself. All too often in the past, I chose stability shoes that wound-up being too "stiff" for my mild pronation and actually hurt me requiring their quick trip to the recycler. In other instances, I would choose a cushioned neutral shoe only to find them too soft. I can't stress enough how uncanny this shoe's ability to provide just the right amount of control for me,

Used to run in the Asics Kayano til I started to get Plantar Fascitis. Did everything: rest, ice, Strassburg sock and took 3 months off and when I started to run again, the pain persisted. Bought these a month ago and Im pain free. I wish I had bought these 4 months ago. By the way, there is a new version comming out this summer and it has an identical midsole and the upper is not to much different. THANK YOU NIKE!

I run about 25 miles a week and this shoe is awesome. I am 5'9", 168lbs, medium arch, slight under pronator to neutral and this shoe is great. The lunar foam provides great cushion, but not too much cushion like the Air Max 2009, it's also bouncy and the shoe is really light and breathable. Highly recommend it.

This is an update of a previous review, 3 months into using the Lunarglide+ and I cannot imagine a better pair of shoes for my needs. (2) half marathons, 5K, 10K, 12K and tomorrow a 15K trail run. On the pavement, dirt roads, trails, long runs, speed work, this shoe does it all. After 3 months of 20- 25 miles per week, it is still going strong and shows no signs of wear. As soon as a compelling new color comes out- I will buy another pair. These shoes do fit different from other Nike offerings (in other words it fits true to size) and the shoes strings come untied unless they are double knotted.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

I've always had trouble w/running shoes because one of my arches is a little high and the other is a little low (yea i know it's weird). Throw in the fact that i also have an elevated first metatarsal and you can see why i running isn't exactly my favorite thing in the world. I started using the Lunarglide+ after trying out the brooks adreline for 6 months and these are by far more comfortable! No more aches & pains throughout the day after running 3 miles every morning.

I highly recommend the Nike Lunarglide+ if you have any biomechanical issues.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

Very comfortable shoe once few weeks into them, but very sloppy if you try to do tempo runs. Tried sticking to treadmill. After a 12 miler the other day had two toe blisters. I never get blisters. Stick with <10 miler treadmill runs for me.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

As a heavier runner at 195lbs I felt this shoes supposed support was actually rather minimal and acted more like a true neutral shoe than anything else. Its comfortable and extremely functional but I do agree that the upper material seems rather shoddy. Overall I can see this becoming my regular training shoe and I am extremely satisfied with the overall product.

          from Undisclosed

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

First run in Lunarglides. I'm a dramatic overpronater transitioning from heel strike to forefoot strike--the physics suggests to me that forefoot striking should minimize overpronation. The Lunarglides seem to work nicely as an aid to this transition. The forefoot cushioning I believe is better--or at least "different"--than my old Zoom Structure Triax, and today I settled into a nice, long hour of "chi" running and, for the first time, felt the experience. Very cool.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

It's time to replace these shoes but in the 2 years I have had them, they had allowed me to run some of my fastest ever times. I ran Ragnar in them, a handful of 5k's and even my fastest 100 meters. They are light and feel quick off the ground. They don't provide as much support as my Asics, which are probably better for the really long runs but they do what they do well. I wish they had a little more support and I wish they laced up better, they don't lock down the foot quite as quickly but once you get them laced up properly they are good to go.

I have tried many shoes over the past 4 years with just average success. I decided to run a marathon and was really worried about how my shoes would hold up. I bought these 6 months before the marathon as a training shoe and was planning to buy a new pair a month before. Unfortunately, they were not available so I went with a different one. The new shoe did not workout so begrudgingly I decided to go with the Lunar Glide for the race. Everything went very well! I will never change, no matter what color they come in.

Third pair of Lungarglides, each has lasted about 350 miles and don't feel like they want to go much farther, which is fine. I even like them better than the LunarFly's. I've had no injuries or issues and run half marathons, hill training, and track work in them. Just really seem to be the real deal, great shoes.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ Running Shoe:

The Nike Lunar Glide is without question the best stability shoe I've ever used. It's very well cushioned, and is far more responsive than either Nike's Structure Triax or the Brooks Adrenaline, which may as well be clogs in contrast to the Lunar Glide. It has a speedy feel that compares favorably with performance stability shoes like the Zoom Elite or the Brooks Ravenna, and is a great all-around shoe for both training and racing. I'll definitely be getting the Lunar Glide in the future.

Having been once a near professional runner, I still train every day. I prefer light weight, well cushioned trainers. Over the years of high mileage training (80+ per week), my feet are very particular. The LunarTrainer was great and these continue the tradition set by them.I will continue to buy the next generation of these so long as they keep to the standards of this line.

I use this product at least two times per week and can run without orthotics that I typically have to use in other running shoes. The shoe is supporitve, comfortable and responsive as well as fun to wear. It could also be used for marathons and longer distance triathlons.

Very comfortable shoe once few weeks into them, but very sloppy if you try to do tempo runs. Tried sticking to treadmill. After a 12 miler the other day had two toe blisters. I never get blisters. Stick with <10 miler treadmill runs for me.

Never been a fan of Nike, always like Asics but after putting these on, they are the best shoes I've had in a long time! I am thinking of getting my second pair soon! Very impressed and would recommend to anyone (even with a wide foot like me).

This shoe is light and comfortable. It serves me well as a nuetral shoe, but what I like best is that the sole is wearing well for me. I have had the AirMax Moto 6+, which are very comfortable to wear, show significant wear after only a few miles (1 run) with the blown rubber soles.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever run in right out of the box. I love the feel of these shoes and they work well for me since I am a generally neutral runner with a tendency to over pronate a bit on my right side. I also got great service from te salesperson at the RRS store in North Brunswick, New Jersey.

is it neutral? Is it stability?. This shoe should be sold in Walmart or Kmart only.

I'm a fan too. I like the feel, but to make it absolutely perfect for me it needs two minor adjustments. A bit more narrow in the toe box for a snug fit, and softer blown rubber on the outsole- it almost feels like hard plastic. Still giving a 5 star because of the new direction this shoe is going- keep up the Enovation Nike.

Great pair of shoes right out of the box. A couple of 3 mile runs to break them in and make sure there weren't any hotspots etc. and then a half marathon. I happen to like the styling and colors (black and orange) and could not be happier.

Honestly one of the best running shoes I've EVER owned! Just ran a 10K race over the wkend with these "out of the box", usually a no-no. Felt great the whole distance, no hot spots, nothing. Believe me when I say I've never much been a fan of Nike's running shoes but "Outside" Mag has raved about these so I was compelled to try them. They were right, easily one of the best neutral to light stability shoes I've ever owned and I've had dozens of shoes spread out over all the usual suspects from ASICS to Saucony and in between. I highly recommend this shoe for a runner like me, 198lbs, mild pronator with mid to high arch who's looking for a cushioned yet mildly springy ride. They honestly felt great this past weekend and I plan to buy another back-up pair very soon. This shoe may not be for everyone but I sure as heck like it!!

While wearing the Lunarglide, I feel light on my feet as if I'm wearing a racing flat, but it has the cushioning to allow me to use it everyday. Nike has invented the best everyday running shoe to date, in my opinion.

Probably the best shoe I have ever ran in. I'm currently in Iraq and the running surfaces are always inconsistent. This shoe handles any terrain with exceptional versatility. I run on roads, up sand-covered hills, on rock, and this shoe is fantastic on all surfaces. The shoe just hugs your foot, and provides plenty of support while being extremely lightweight. As much as I'm running in these things, I'm going to have to order another pair soon!

Very cool.

Ran 18 mi my first time out with them. They are definitely light, very breathable, well made and comfortable. They are softer than the Vomeros. I liked the Vomero 2 and was hoping these would feel like them, but they don't have any arch support for people with high arches and are softer. I've tried most neutral shoes and am sticking with Brooks Glycerin and New Balance 1063. These were a big disappointment. Make sure you try before you buy.

(I dont pronate and hav a normal arch) wouldnt reccommend this shoe if youd had a injury it might bring that up. also the heel is rather heavy tryed doing a wrkout on the track and it felt to heavy and slowed me down

A very good overall shoe training shoe for the neutral to mild (maybe even moderate) OP'er. Great cushioning and very comfortable but the transition and ride are taking a little while for me to get used to. After 3 runs (3, 5 and 10 miler) the cushioning provides tremendous feedback, something that I'm not used to, but hope to be soon. The only other complaint would be that the very nice and comfortable (way more comfortable and conventional than the lunar trainer) upper is just too roomy for me. I need two pair of socks to get a passable fit. I'd say these are borderline sloppy for those with narrowish feet (me).
