(cont.) and also feel greatly misled). The shoe does have some great stability and cushioning features. However, none of that matters because the heel fit and other features are so poor. I specifically told the Roadrunner Sports fitter that because of my somewhat narrow heel and midfoot, I absolutely need memory foam in the heel collar and the tongue. He looked at the shoe and assured me that it had memory foam. He also commented that as Nike's highest-end shoe, it of course would. After major heel slippage on an awful run, I called Nike, which informed me that the shoe in fact doesn't have memory foam. Not right for the fitter to give me bad info. And really poor of Nike not to put that in such a high-end (read pricey!) shoe.

I bought this shoe in-store, at the recommendation of the Roadrunner Sports fitter. I have a medium, almost narrow heel and midfoot, but need maximum toebox width and depth due to very pronounced bunions. I really regret buying this shoe at the fitter's recommendation. I'm extremely disappointed, and also feel greatly misled (even if that was unintentional by the fitter). On the one hand, the shoe absolutely has some great stability and cushioning features. However, none of that matters because the heel fit and other features are so poor. I specifically told the Roadrunner Sports fitter that because of my somewhat narrow heel and midfoot, I absolutely need memory foam in the heel collar and the tongue, especially as I have to get this shoe is a wide width due to my buions. Memory foam isn't a gimmick, and, for many runners, it's critical to avoiding heel slippage. The Roadrunner Sports fitter looked at the shoe and assured me that it had memory foam. He also commented, "This

Nice & cushy; flexible. First Nike shoe I've really liked. And it comes in wide to accomodate my bunion without any blistering.

I will be returning these shoes. The forefront feels very different than its predecessor, kind of floppy. I actually ordered the 3's and like them better than the 4's. The 3's fit much snugger in the toes that the 2's and certainly the 4's. The 3's having superior cushioning than the 4's. I wish Nike would stop messing around with a good thing.

I pre-ordered these shoes a month ago, and was happy to finally get them in the mail last week. After running in two other Nike models (Pegasus 25's and Max Moto 7's) I thought these shoes would be perfect for me. First, I found the shoes to be bigger than the size 9.5 that I wear in the other two models. And although the cushioning on these shoes was superb, I wasn't able to enjoy the fit because the arch on the shoe is really uncomfortable; it's positioned far back towards the heel of the foot. I hope these work for someone else, but I had to send mine back:(

Just bought these today, haven't done a run in them yet. They definitely fit a 1/2 size smaller. I have the Equalon 2, size 9, and in the 4's I needed a size 9 1/2. The test run I did in the store/sidewalk initially felt good, very strong heel base/cushioning, more so than the 2's, feels like a little less cushioning in the front.
