Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I'm 6'1" and weight 180lbs and I train for marathons and triathlons, typically logging between 20 - 40 miles per week. I run mostly on pavement with the occasional trail thrown in. I'm coming from the Asics Kayano 15, which I still have as my alternate shoe and still very much like...but it's a different feel than the Equalon 4.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: A little about me. I am 6'0 220 pound. I run about 4 times/week averaging about 12-15 miles. I have yet to find a shoe that is completely comfortable...but this shoe comes close. It has a nice cushioned ride and feels fairly lightweight. The one con I think is that the foot bed tends to cause a little bit of friction which I can feel at the end of my runs. I have tried a variety of different socks..but to no avail. For a medium width I think that most people would think that it is a tad bit narrower then what they are used to. If you are a heavy runner with narrower feet then this is a good shoe for you.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: This shoe is great. I've tried New Balance, Asics, and Brooks with no luck. These shoes have a perfect balance of cushioning, support, and overall comfort. They are a little pricey, but worth the few extra bucks. I'm 5'10" 190lbs with flat feet and two bad knees and a bad ankle from 15 years in the Army. I run 20-25 miles per week and with these new Nikes, I am able to do so without any pain or discomfort. I plan on buying a second pair soon.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: as a 230 lb runner (10-15 miles week) with wide feet, couldn't find a comfortable shoe for years, the ZOOM EQUALON+ 4's are extremely comfortable and adds the extra cushioning for the feet/knees..would highly recommend for the 200lb+ runner, really helped my runs

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I run 3 times per week and weigh 225lbs. The 1st time I ran in the shoes they felt like I have been wearing them for weeks. I liked them so much I bought a second pair to alternate between runs. My only wish is that they had other colors to choose from otherwise super comfortable and just enough cushion for a heavy runner.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I bought these to alternate with my current pair of Asics Gel Kayanos (this has been my go to shoe for several years). I needed a stability shoe with good cushioning. Been battling Plantar Faciitus for six months. The Gel Kayanos work fine but I wanted to try something else. I love these shoes. Better cushioning than the Asics, lighter and stability just as good. This is my new go to shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: Well, let me start by saying that I used to race at a high level until multiple knee surgeries to both knees. Orthopedic surgeons have told me that I need a knee replacement. At 40 yrs I stopped running and racing, but the knees got worst. While coaching other triathletes they convinced me to try racing again after 6 years. I thought it would be impossible, but I did my research. Nike Equalon had the most reviews with description of cushioning and stability.
Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: Agree with Michael as it's cushioned like version 2 but alot more stable, especially at heel strike. Good for long runs. For me, not very good with heel to toe transition but then again S+/MC shoes aren't known for it. If you're a heel striker/over pronator and need good heel stability and lots of cushion for long runs consider this shoe. Snug heel wrap, a bit narrow mid but unusual longer toe box. Ran in v.2 and tried v.3 both I needed 1/2 size up for both but this shoe is true size for me. I do feel the upper material seems cheap compared to the previous versions. Seems lighter than 12oz but not very good breathability... feet were burning hot after just a 4 mile run. Hopefully it gets better. Pros

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I'm a heavy runner - 220lbs and normally log 20-30 miles per week. What a pleasant surprise that Nike has produced a stability shoe for heavier runners. This might possibly be the best running shoe I have ever owned.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: Very comfortable on a run or just for a walk. No blisters. I have almost flat feet and the old shoes were immediately donated. Limit myself from using them daily but worth the buck.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: 40 year runner, 5' 8", 175 lbs., now average 25-40 miles/week, depending on time of year. Have used the Air Equalon since it's introduction, and now on 5th pair of +4 version. Used 2 pair to train for, and run '09 NYC marathon. Switched to this shoe when knee problems almost forced me to cut back, or give up running. Over the years, have tried every major brand of shoe, many of which were OK, but this shoe just works for me.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I havent run in them yet, as I am recovering from knee surgery. They have helped me a lot with walking though, as I have been walking in an effort to get back and these shoes are so comfortable. They definitely help with therapy and I would recommend them anytime. Virtually feel no impact as I walk and they are light

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I'm a woman and I buy these shoes because I am 6 feet tall, lift weights, and run like a maniac in the hills. I am brutal on these shoes and they hold up nicely. It's like running on marshmallows they are so comfy and squishy. I put about 20+ miles on them each week in the trails.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: Moved to this shoe from ASICS. Best decision I ever made. I am 6 feet tall and 190 pounds and a pretty heavy heel striker. This shoe provides plenty of cushion (). Durable, good looking, and a great all-around running/gym shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: This was the second pair of Equalons I have owned and have liked both pairs. They are kind of pricey, but I was able to catch a sale on RRS.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I've been spending time and money trying to find the right shoes and since I tried Equalon4 I think I found my shoe mate! I am training for my first marathon and all the shoes I tried after 10 miles they gave me blisters or knee pain...I already ran 12 miles in them and I felt great..Good for Overpronator, 180lbs looking for those long miles to be less painful...Good job Nike

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: Love these shoes, I'm a bigger guy 210lbs and these are a joy to run in. Very soft landings and easy on the knees. I've wore Asics Kayanos for years but was looking for a change. I found it when Nike add with sizing on these.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 Running Shoe: I only run 3-4 miles 3 days a week but I love this shoe. I also lift weights 3 days a week and it's great in the weight room too!
