I got this one because i thought it would give me more suppport. It did. They are light but compared to the lunaracers (6 oz)they seem a little heavy. These shoes do have good grip and fit nicely. but if you wiegh less than 140 or 150 lbs I might recomend the lunaracers II. But overall I am very pleased with the shoes. Pros

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: This radical update to the previous Elite 4's gives me mixed feelings. It is noticeably lighter and and the outsole seems to be holding up better but it's missing the great responsiveness provided by zoom air. What was so great about the 4's were its responsiveness, the 3/4 length crash pad, the comfy upper, its flexibility, and the wonderful support it gave. The lunar version can be summed up as stiff. This applies to the upper around the ankle, especially so out of the box, and the midsole. A nice shoe nonetheless BUT I'm very pessimistic about Nike's transition from zoom air to lunar foam... Pros

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I run 6-9miles, 3-4x/wk on asphalt. I use these for speedwork and race days, but would be just fine for everyday use. Minimal break-in period compared to the Nike Structure Triax's that are my "regulars". Nike Free's are little too minimalistic on cushioning for me as a 190+ lb runner, but I race in those too. These provide a lot more cushioning than the Free's, but less stability than the Triax's.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: Wow! I just bought these and ran a half marathon in 1:30. I've never run before!! Usually I just sit and eat Twinkies on the weekend !! Felt incredible, like running on a cloud! Only complaint is I would say use only on roads or track. I had to run a small portion on sand/dirt with gravel and felt every rock! So great on a smooth surface but really felt stuff otherwise. Cool looking also.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I pre-ordered these shoes when I saw them available. The colors are slightly different (and brighter) than in the image on this site; the guitar-pick looking one the side of the shoe near the heel is a silver color, not neon green. Pros

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: My experience with the Performance Stability category is primarily with the 900 series from New Balance (902-905's) and the Zoot Ultra Tempo's. Compared with these shoes the Lunar Elite+ has a stiffer sole, giving it a bit more stability than the others. At the same time, it's a fast shoe, certainly faster than the Stability models I also wear in training. For someone looking to move from Stability to Performance Stability these shoes would be a good choice, particularly for 10K distances and up. Also, for larger size runners who might appreciate the added stability.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I am a 220 lbs. runner and run on average 15-20 miles per week. I usually run in Mizuno Wave Riders and like a shoe that has great degree of flexibility. It feels slightly more rigid than the wave riders but offers a cushioned and comfortable fit. Lightweight and a nice look to them..overall a good shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I purchased these shoes after I had bought the women's style for my significant other. We both love these shoes and use them quite frequently. I would buy these shoes over and over again.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I bought the Lunar Elite shoe when in the market for a lightweight trainer. I tend to wear minimal shoes these days, finding that less weight and bulk produces a natural motion, fewer aches and pains. My mileage is modest (20 miles in 4-5 days per week). I found this shoe to be more protective and cushioned than I am used to, but the lightweight suits my training. I plan to use this shoe for my longest runs or when I need to be on road surfaces and not softer trails. I think the shoe will be at its best when broken in a bit more and less cushiony...but that's just me.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I was looking for a lighter stability shoe for training and maybe some races. I've got high arches, but I'm a little "weighty" for my height, so I usually stick to stability shoes (air structure triax have been my go to). These have felt good except that I've had a bit of foot pain on the outside of both feet. It eases if I loosen my laces, but then shoes can feel too loose. May just need to be broken-in. Otherwise, they've worked great. Good cushioning with the lunarlon. The neon yellow is BRIGHT.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: Great shoe, and the price was much better on this site than Zappos or other shoe sites.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: Great shoes right out of the box. Did a tempo in them the first run on Christmas night. 6:30-45 pace felt really easy in these. Very bounchy and light. I will definetly buy another pair once these are ready to replace. I've already gotten the LunaRacers to compliments these. Great shoes and I will and already have recommened these to my running buddies.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: My first pair of minimalist shoes, and I love them! They feel light and offer just enough support without feeling like they are intruding on impact.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: I am as flat footed as a duck and pronate slightly, but this shoe worked very well for me. It gave enough arch support where I didn't feel any strain or aching later. Order a half size up, though Plus, this shoe has no traction on slightly wet pavement or any smooth surface. I would recommend as a once-twice a week shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: First, this is a great shoe. I have come back to wearing Nike running shoes after many years dedication to Saucony and Brooks. I bought the LunarEclipse after the rave reviews in Runner's World magazine. These are a "minimalist" shoe, which I am firmly on the band wagon. I am a bit of a clydesdale (~190 lbs) and historically a notorious heel striker. I have made a conscious effort to become a mid-foot striker, and these shoes (and the Nike Free Run) have helped me successfully transition to a healthier running gait.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: First, this is a great shoe. I decided to try the LunarElite+ on the heels of the outstanding Nike Free. I read a review in Runner's World, and thought I would give them a try. I am avidly using the Nike+ system on the web, and wanted to try an alternate shoe I could use, instead of wearing the Free on every run.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: This is good stuff for Nike fans looking for a all mode shoe. I use this both in training and races. Excellent for interval training, fartlek up to short/medium workouts. I race with it up to half marathon and gives max comfort (no blisters)and reactivness.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: This shoe is a lightweight trainer that offers some stability for the overpronator. I train 4 to 6 miles a day approximately 5 days a week in them. They are light enough and durable enough to use for speed work or racing (5k to the marathon). However, since I no longer race, I don't don't how long they would last if used for racing often.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarElite+ Running Shoe: Lunerlite + is good shoe and feels light when running.I use it for racing and ran a 5k race this week and didn't know I had them on.I trian in Nike Vomero 5 and they are like pillows when running the lunerlite is a little harder ride.I find them a little tight in the toe box and as with both Nike shoes I size up a 1/2 size.A very good lite running shoe.
