Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Trail Trail Running Shoe:

I purchased these for long (15 mile plus) mountain runs in central PA. After wearing them for two events, I can assure everyone reading this and looking for a quality, tough, rugged pair of trail shoes, these are it; assuming they are for your "foot" type. My last race was a 16.8, 4400 vertical climb (and decent) mountain run on basically deer paths, and for those unfamiliar with deer paths, think of a mountain bike single track course, full with rocks, roots, slop, and brush. These held up nicely. My feet did not hurt, my knees held up great, and my lower back fine (I did add the RRS support plus insert). All in all, I would give them a 5, however the "nobs" on the bottom seemed to wear rather quickly (which is why they got a 4 rating). Running on the rocks, with wet conditions, I had no slips, they did not "grab" onto the roots like other "trail" shoes, and my ankles never "rolled" once.
Nike has come a long way with their running product line, and I would rank them (at least the pairs I have worn) on par with the Asics 2100 series shoes and Brooks Adrenaline series shoes.
These feel like a road shoe, look like a road shoe, but handle the trails very nicely. Good job Nike.
Now just don't discontinue this series like you did my elite 4's!

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Trail Trail Running Shoe:

Great product. Built well and worth the price. Normally wear gel inserts but haven't added them to these sneakers yet so I cannot comment on wether or not inserts are needed.
Great tread and very light for a trail rated shoe.

Good shoe. Love the styling. Trail shoes usually last longer and this one is rugged with a good feel. Not too soft and firm with good control on multiple surfaces. Would buy again.

Good overall shoe. I use it for trails in Ohio, so not very technical trails, but often muddy and wet. I also found the shoe very good on snow covered trails and roads. Good traction and overall good moderate pronation control.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Trail Trail Running Shoe:

I get these for my son who runs cross country and track in college. He uses these for any distance workout but especially likes these for winter weather. They're like the snow tires of distance shoes. They keep the wet out even in the worst weather and have solid tread that gets him several hundred miles per pair. He has never gotten an injury wearing these: they correct well for his over probation. He says they're very comfortable and are versatile for trail or road running. These are easily his favorite distance shoe and are well worth the cost.

I really like this shoe except that the neon yellow is very prominent in the shoe. Would be hard to wear anywhere but on the trails...

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Trail Trail Running Shoe:

I've been wearing these shoes for running and throughout the day.
I tried the Zoom Structure Triax +13 road shoe but decided to get these because they are more water resistant for a small sacrifice in weight and I liked the color scheme better.
They felt great from the get go with lots of stability for my over pronating.
I've been running in new balance 991/992/993 for years and these actually come close in terms of comfort.
I don't have anything negative to say but I've only been running in them for a month so we'll see about durability.
