    I have been a runner for 30+ years and tried lots of shoes. Currently I run between 25 and 35 miles. For racing, I prefer light-weight training shoes. These shoes are great for racing. They need to increase the cushioning in the forefoot. On longer runs or races over a half-marathon, my feet really take a beating!

        Last year when I heard they were coming out with a lunar elite model. I had an idea of what I thought it would be, and this is it. I feel it fits right in the middle of the Glide and the Racer. I have about 250 miles on my current pair, and can easily get another 100 out of them maybe even more. They completely revamped the upper and I think the ride is just a tad bit softer than last years model. Finally an update done right!!!

        Thanks to RRS, I was able to return these shoes. They are extremely light and I was able to run faster in them. However, my foot had no arch or lateral support and consequently received bad blisters. I bought these for longer distance runs and after only 55 miles the shoes showed excessive wear. The Nike colors looked great though.

          I used these (and another shoe) to train for a marathon and then ran the marathon in these. I had no problem adjusting to these shoes and had no leg or feet soreness other than what I would expect from a hilly marathon.
