I got these shoes on 3/31 and have run about 10 miles in them so far. When I put them on for the first time and laced them up, I was pleasantly surprised by the cushioning and flexibility. When I started my first run the shoes seemed to bounce off the pavement and moved me along like a self-propelled push mower! I have run in some variation of the Nike Lunar series for the past 5 years, but needed something with a bit more support without giving up the cushioning I have come to expect. These shoes fit that need perfectly! The Vomero has been the flagship of Nike running for some time now, and the 7's do not disappoint. They are fantastic for running, but also stable enough for training and the CrossFit classes I take. All around great shoe for the active athlete!

I have had all of the versions to date and at first I actually doubted that these were going to cut it. They looked and felt different to the rest. These fit really well and secure and has a pillowy softness at heel strike right through to toe off. This is a great update but wish nike puts more meat on the outer heel outsole like they used to.

I have been a fan of the Vomero. I am a stocky guy that works out a lot that enjoys running as well. I under pronate so I need a neutral shoe, the vomero has always giving me the comfort I need without being too soft in the forefoot. This shoe fits slightly smaller than the previous versions. My biggest complaint is in the heel and midfoot cushioning. I was expecting this shoe to have even more cushioning since it was heavier but I do not feel that it does. I feel the forefoot still has the right amount of cushion to responsiveness and it does seem more breathable. Those are the only positives that I can give this shoe compared to its predecessors. I am going to try one more run in them, but feel sure I will be returning these as bad as I don't won't too.

This shoe is markedly different in construction to the +6 it replaces.

The HUGE difference is the way the tongue attaches to the shoe. The +6 tongue is completely sewn in on three sides, all along the eyelets to the top of the shoe. The +7 tongue is only sewn in on one side, at the base of the tongue; there is no stitching on the side at all.

Why is this important? If you are a triathlete, the +6 is a great "no sock" shoe coming out of T2. The +7 is terrible. Without socks, the rough stitching on the +7 will tear your feet to shreds. Trust me, I discovered this the hard way.

There are other differences: the heal crash pad in the +7 looks bigger and the way the heel cup is supported is also different. The +7 bolstering material looks like leather, giving it a richer appearance than the +6 which looks like vinyl.

The +7 construction is surprisingly different from the +6; it's really a totally different shoe.

I love the Vomero series. I have run in them for years. I am disappointed this year that they have again gotten heavier. Why Nike? Why? They started at 11.5 ounces last year was 12.1 oz this year 12.7 oz? They are heavier than the air max. I hope they fix this for the vomero 8. I hate having to switch shoes.

Got my first pair last week run 5 miles in them the day i got them in the mail ran 10 more miles in them last week with no problems at all. So i order 1 more pair and got them today took them out of the box and ran 5 miles no problems at all. Great shoe. Been running in Nikes for years like them all but the # 7s are the best. Great running shoe. If you need a lot of coushion these are the shoes for you.

The colors are nice. I am really not impressed with this model. I have had the vomero 4 and the 4 seems more plush. The 7 seem very harsh on the feet. I believe that the 4 was the last good feeling shoe. I am gonna start looking at other models, now.

This is a good walking shoe it has good support, but not a running shoe or even a race shoe. It is too heavy to run in.

I normally run with the Air Max models which I'm OK with. However, curiousity and the sale price led me to check out the Vomero+ 7 which had some great reviews on its comfortable cushion ride. I am 5' 10" and 202 lbs and require a neutral shoe (supinator). Run about 15 mi per week. This is a nicely-built shoe. I followed the recommendations and ordered a 1/2 size up. Width is fine in this sized-up version but as expected, a little long so I sometimes feel the tip of the shoe catching on the pavement as the trailing leg swings forward to begin the next stride.

For me, this is not a replacement for my Air Max. It feels too squishy and gives me the sense that it's not very stable. My experience may be due to my heavier weight. Probably a good shoe for lighter runners, but I would not recommend this for 200+ lb runners. I expect these shoes to go flat sooner due to the softer sole materials.

More support than any shoe I have worn in years. I have found that I need much more support now that I am in my sixties than I did when I was younger and these shoes provide it.

I love Nike Vomero's, been wearing them for 20+ years. I am 63 and run 4 miles every other day. Comfortable, fit well and cushioned just right. My only complaint: they wear out more quickly than other shoes and I don't think it's the way I run. Still, I'd rather have a great shoe and replace it more often than one that is not as comfortable, not as cushioned, not as well fitting but lasts longer.

Comfortable. Great with jeans. I'm 6ft, 215 and they are comfortable to run in. I've had 2 knee surgeries and I love these. Very stable. Not for marathons, great for the casual runner who needs a little added cushion. If you are a minimalist, these are not for you. If you a retired athlete like me, you will appreciate the comfort and stability, but still great for the gym. Not bulky at all. Still performance minded with stability.
I normally wear a 12.5 in nike's and the 13's fit perfect. I wear 13's in puma and Adidas.
