Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: I had over 1000 miles in my free run+ and finally needed a replacement. I assumed these would be better than original, but I was wrong. Nike really messed up with this shoe by putting a tongue back in it. I loved the "sleeve style" of the originals and now these are just like regular running shoes without the cushioning. Disappointed in Nike...

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: The shoes are super light and very comfortable. They fit about a 1/2 smaller than my Brooks.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: I run 3-4 times a week for anywhere between 3-5 miles. I have flat feet and originally started out with heavy support asics. Then switched to a little less support with nike lunarglides. Got a pair of free runners and these were my second. They are very comfortable and give me enough support that if I strike with my heal I can keep going, and are flexible enough that they allow me to work on my stride to avoid heal strikes.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: I run in these shoes 4 times a week. My only question is on a low volume shoe like this is how long should they last? Should I expect 300 miles or 600 miles out of them? I have no experience yet but I did replace them after about 300 miles.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: This shoe is debatable. It is very lightweight and is comfortable. It has no real padding around the ankle or foot. The material is nice, but it won't last long in mud and cross country running. This is solely just a gym shoe, concrete or grass running shoe. I don't see this as a shoe to kick a ball with or run in harsh conditions. Would ruin and damage the shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: I use this to run on the treadmill. As a supinator I need a cushioned shoe, so I have been wearing the Nike Vomero as it is a great shoe for my foot, but I couldn't resist trying this shoe because it was on sale. I thought it would be like the web-foot shoes where you're pretty much running bare foot, but it couldn't be more of the opposite! From the first step I noticed a significantly cushioned sole and support to my arch, which I wasn't expeciting with it being a "free run" shoe. It was a little tight so I would suggest getting a half size bigger, nevertheless, it feels great! I may have found a new type of shoe for me. I would highly recommend this shoe!

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: I owned a pair of Nike Free 5.0 that I loved but for some reason did not go back to frees with my next couple purchases. I guess that I thought that I needed additional options that gave more support for running and working out since I'm a pretty big guy (about 220) and I know these shoes are supposed to resemble barefoot running. That said, I'm just sorry that I did not buy another pair sooner. I may not be able to consistently run 5 miles a day in them given my knees but they are awesome for at the gym and the occasional run. I feel faster just lacing up. I hope Nike keeps up the good work with the Free line - awesome shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: Theses shoes are awesome. These are my third pair. I am supposed to wear stability plus shoes but I run better in the free runs than anything else. They are my go to for 5 and 10k's.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: Normally use Saucony Kinvara 3 or Nike Free shoes. I have numerous pairs of both. Ordered a pair of these Free Run 3 shoes and they showed up last Wednesday. Used them for a quick 5K this weekend. Yes, I went against conventional wisdom and put them on first for an event. So, so darn comfortable. WOW! My only complaint mirrors a previous poster, in that I wish Nike would have kept the sock-concept and not gone back to a conventional tongue. My right side did indeed slip to the side. Other than that, I was stoked!

Cons
Best Uses Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ 3 Running Shoe: I am a midfoot striker, 20-40 mpw runner. I loved the original Free Runs and never wore the FR2's. These have that great Nike flexibility and natural landing. They are tighter due to the support "bands" in the material and the redesign did away with the slip-on architecture, which is a minus to me. To compensate I found the spot were the shoe was most restrictive and skipped that eyelet when I laced them up. It took some of the pressure off but the shoe is still relatively tight across the tops of the toes. I did end up swapping my usual Nike size for the next 1/2 size up which helped without feeling too sloppy. Overall, an above average minimalist type shoe. I'm hoping the upcoming FR4's revert back to the original design.
