I run 10-20 miles/week on the road and have been running in the 29's for 3 weeks now. I've never ran in Pegasus before...my last 3 pairs have been Vomero's twice and Brooks Glycerine. Wow, the Pegasus 29's have been a pleasant surprise. Plenty of springy cushion (if you like that- I do) in a lightweight shoe. I don't know how durable they will be but right now they get me excited to run. I'm a 6'2" tall & 190 lbs. neutral runner.

I've been running in Nike shoes since 1981. This new Peagus 29 is awesome! Comfortable, cushioned, good looking, etc. I'm so glad I tried these. I had the Peagus 28 and the Vomero 7, but these are much better. Try the wild green, they are beautiful.

I just switch from running on Brooks Adrenaline for the last 8 years and this shoe is excellent if you are a fore foot runner. There is excellent padding for the ball of the foots. I find them very comfortable. I was surprised because I haven't run in a Nike in over 15 years.

I like the 28s a little more than the new version. More heel cushion in the 28s. I'm using both the 28s and 29s to rehab a foot injury before switching back to my usual running shoes. The 29s are still comfortable and fun to run in.

Outer sole lasts longer than Asics, but tread picks up rocks and pebbles. I superinate and the heels last less than 200 miles even when I rotate shoes. Alas, i haven't found anything better for my running style (heel striker, supernator, high arch, long slow runner).

i wish nike made 4E's for their cushion shoes. i've run in vomero's for years and tried the pegasus'. the shoe is somewhat on small side and one will have to jump 1/2 size up. very comfortable shoe and i believe nike hit another home run with this shoe.

I ran in these shoes for the last 6 months totaling somewhere between 250-300 miles and loved them. They were very comfortable and kept my feet feeling great after each run. I felt that the support from the shoes was great and they were supportive without being too bulky or too heavy. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and almost bought a new pair.

I think I will give another shoe a try first but I would definitely get another pair if the new ones don''t work out.

Air Pegasus is my favorite running shoe. I run 10Ks and occasionaly a Marathon. It fits my foot perfectly with an average arch and pronation. The only minor issue I have are the shoe laces. On some orders, one shoe lace may be 2-3 inches short and may not be enough for a double knot. This is easily fixed.

This has become my absolute favorite trainer. I put over 750 miles on my last pair and plan to do the same with my latest pair. The Pegasus has been a staple of Nike for over 29 years and there's a reason. Hard to beat this shoe!

I have a bunion that becomes extremely sore with the wrong shoe and size. I went to Roadrunner for an evaluation that would give me a better idea of the type and size of shoe I needed. When all was said and done, I was very pleased with the service I received and the recommended shoe and size.

I've been running on Nike Pegasus shoes for years - 20-30 miles a week, more when I'm training for a marathon. I'm surprised to read the negative comparisons of the new 29 with last year's 28. I alternate a 28 and 29 right now, and I find very little difference. The 29 feels a wee-bit softer and the 28 a wee-bit more stable. Both are simple, straightforward cushion shoes. Excellent on the road and okay on the trails.

After a decade removed from Nike I decided to give them another try. I needed a low mileage training shoe and this seemed to be a good option. After the many years of the positive things I have read and heard about the Pegs I bought a pair. My first impression of the shoe is that it was very "stripped down". There isn't much to this shoe. Basically a cushion sole attached to a mesh top. It doesnt seem like there was much effort put into the designing of this shoe. The toe box to me is an area that I thought really hurts my overall impression of the shoe. First, the shoe seems to run short. I have always been 10.5 - 11. I tried on the 11 and ended up going with a 11.5. After wearing these a couple times I noticed the toe box area seems to have a lot of extra material. Not wide but extra material. They dont have the form fit snug running shoe feel. When I laced these up I noticed a bunching of material at the bottom of the laces. This extra material causes the ball of your foot and toes to move all around the shoe. To correct the movemnt I laced up the shoe tighter to try to minimize foot movement. The next problem surfaced. The tongue has very little padding. After a few runs I thought I may have ordered the wrong size. I went back down to the 11. My toes ended up touching the front due to the shortness. I ended up with blisters and a host of other discomforts. I don't know what the rave is about this shoe. Maybe this shoe works for a lot of people but it definitely isn't a good match for me. To help others that are of similar build I am 6'3'' 175# 20-40 miles/week. My shoe size is 10.5 - 11 (typically 11).
