I run between 5 and 10 miles at a time. The shoe was OK for the five mile run but the lack of cushioning resulted in pain in the ball of the foot and under the toes. This is the first pair of Pegasus shoes that I have disliked.

I bought these shoes as a lighter running shoe alternative to my Asics Cumulus. So far I'm enjoying them! I had to replace the insole with the custom ones I purchased from RR earlier this year because the originals did not provide enough support. I also noticed immediately the difference in cushion provided but I expected that. Overall I like them for my shorter runs (5 miles or so) but I think I need more support and cushion for my longer runs.

i thought these looked kinda plastic like but i love them!! i am walking around the lake and also wearing them to work.. very happy with these i need more toned down colors tho...

Before I got this shoe, I was using a Nike stability shoe. After getting fitted, and told I have high arches, this shoe was recommended. I've run several long distance runs in these shoes and have not had any problems, from day one. These are great shoes!

I've tried many shoes and the old standby Air Pegasus is the only one that works for me. Injuries have abated since I've worn them (and have worked on my core more). And m feet are tricky--battered and bunioned from years of ballet, plus they are wide-wish for my size.

I only wish Nike would stop changing the model every 5 minutes. The 29 was a change for the good but it's not always the case.

This shoe is a great, trustworthy running shoe. I've been running in Pegasus for 14 years. It's a great shoe. It's comfortable and durable. Like any shoe, it wears out.... but it certainly is a quality buy! Customer service is excellent with RRS. I'm a lightweight, 8-10 mi/week runner.

I'm a runner by trade but also active military and I use my running shoes for regular road running for preparation for PT test. I've done 6 marathons but am thinking of doing another marathon. I'm hoping this shoe will work for long distance running.

I had another pair of Nike's that were Performance Neutral. The sole was simply to thin and I was feeling knee pain during and after my runs. I have a high arch and they were also making me over-supinate. I swtiched to the Nike Air Pegasus shoes and no more knee pain and I have more support on the outside of my foot. Initially they felt a little bulkier but my runs have actually become faster. I love the color too. I am very happy with my purchase.

I got these to restart my Couch to 5K training. My previous attempts had been hampered by shin splints, which I had assumed were due to poor fitting shoes. I think I was right, because after getting properly measured, I ended up purchasing these and haven't experienced any more shin splits. I did have to go up half a size. The shoe feels very light but is very supportive of my (high arch) foot. My only dislikes are the laces (you need to pull each section individually to tighten, instead of pulling both lace ends) and the colour selection. But overall, I am very pleased with the shoe.

I am an experienced all-season runner. And, I take this opportunity to remark the following- I noticed that good running shoes are extremely difficult to find these days. In the last 8 years quality of a good running shoe for women has really declined. I find the Pegasus+ 29 model by NIke the only shoe that still fits my needs. Still, Nike needs to step up the volume, when speaking of women running shoes! Prices have risen, and quality has declined! I am a Nike fan- but, often noted- not enough time is spend on product testing! But, this last statement doesn't just apply for Nike- it goes for all other companies in the sportswear industry as well.

I am an avid walker, and bought my first Air Pegasus upon a running store recommendation. I need good arch support, am a neutral runner/walker, and need them to feel like slippers due to foot sensitivities. This feels very soft, and I first bought the +26. Now it's three (+29) iterations away, and the shoe feels the same, but the toe box is smaller and tighter. I had to wear them for three days before my toes did not hit the front of the shoe, and I ordered the exact same size as before. Almost sent them back, but they seemed to "stretch"? if that's possible. Anyway, I kept them and all is fine now, but it took a while.

I love them! They have tons of cushion, including the heel. I've used them on track, pavement/asphalt and treadmill, and they work great. I had to go a full size bigger (I'm usually 8 and had to buy 9's). I've only had them for 3 weeks so I can't really say anything about durability yet, but one thing is great is that they are super comfortable from day one. Great running shoe!

I have been wearing Pegasus for 30 years and this updated version made my feet hurt. I use them outdoors for running but they might be a better option for gym use. Not true to size, you have to buy a size bigger and still my feet continue to hurt, all day long after wearing these shoes for 3 months.

Now this is more like it. After several attempts at purchasing and trying other Nike brand running sneakers, finally after all these years of running (20+), I ordered a pair of the Pegasus. I now know why they have been so popular through the years. They feel like the old Nike brand of sneaker I have been accustomed to. Super cushioned and comfortable. I did order one size up from my normal size as I lean towards wearing a thicker sock. Lots of room and they looked good too. I'm very pleased with these sneakers and look forward to wearing them time and time again. Thanks RRS for your great service. Despite having issues with past Nike sneakers, you guys come through every single time!!!!

I broke my feet running in the past, and I was taking forever to get back into it. I had pain in the feet, tendonitis, back pain, etc. I knew it could be shoe related, but this shoe is a miracle worker. I went from forcing a run 2x/week and ending in pain, to running every other day for several miles and no pain after. These shoes saved my run! I also get compliments on the electric blue/red shoe when i run errands in them after the gym. Love them!

Since moving to Florida, being outdoors is an everyday occurance. Pegasus gives the best support for my walking and endurance needs. The only down side is womens choice of color. When is Nike going to give women better colors to choose from. The men have a better color selection.

I love these shoes so much that I bought a second pair. I'm a beginning runner, and I did my 2nd full marathon in these shoes. I feel fast in these. They were comfortable and felt good from the moment I put them on. I'm a slight over-pronator, and these shoes cause me no problems. I'm a size 7 or 7.5, but I usually size up just in case, and these were perfect in 7.5. My boyfriend who's run 5 marathons likes these shoes a lot too (in men's sizes, of course).
