This shoe is awesome for an avid traveler like myself. I can take these shoes anywhere, in any weather condition, and they will never break down. My feet stay dry even in the tropics, where it rains frequently. I use these shoes both for running and for casual wear.

I have ran in the Pegasus for a long time. I switched shoes several times trying to find something different, but for me no other compares. Six miles right out of the box with no issues. The shield is a nice option to keep you dry on those rainy days, but it is definitely not gore-tex. I was concerned that I wouldn't like the color as I am not a fan of black shoes, but I was impressed how sharp they were on arrival.. The cool thing for me was how reflective they were. These things light up like a beacon when hit with a light source at night.. Overall, it's the same old tried, true and proven Pegasus with some awesome add-ons.. Outstanding shoe!

Shoe has been great. It is has held up to the weather especially through this long winter. I have been wearing Pegasus for almost 20 years and this is one of the all-time bests.

I currently use four different brands of neutral shoes. I run almost entirely on pavement so it's critical for me to swich often. I have been using Air Pegasus Trail shoes for my winter running, and they work great when there's snow on the road but are just not the right shoe for dry pavement.
So I asked my wife to get me a pair of these for Christmas so I could incorporate them into my cold weather runs. I found them to be lightweight, fast, water repellent, and warm, which is exactly what I needed for those cold weather runs. They are so warm in fact, that I had to go back to a lighter sock because my feet were starting to sweat!
The shoes also have a reflective quality, so they are great for running when it's dark. I run very early before work (4:30am) through the city streets, and safety is always a concern. The whole shoe "lights up" when headlights hit them.
As far as wear quality goes, I average about 20 miles/week and after 3 months of use they seem to be wearing very well. I would anticipate getting around 450-500 miles out of this pair (which is about what I get from all of the name brand shoes I use). The fit is also perfect for me - I wear a 10.5 D and these fit just right. I love these shoes so much I recently ordered another pair!

These shoes work the best for me. I have tried different Brooks, Mizuno, and other brands but these are the feel that I like. Others give me shin splints and make my feet feel "tired" quick, but with these I can run 8 miles without even thinking about my feet.

Top of both feet hurt after a very short run. I was sidelined for a couple of days. The shoes were returned immediately. I have high arches and yet could feel my feet sliding from side to side.

I've gone for four 5 mile runs with this shoe. Like most Nike "updates" the earlier models were in my opinion better (Pegasus 27 Trail is perfect!)It felt so wide after the first run I replaced the insole with a RRS cushioned insole and bought some thicker socks. Still sloppy on the second run so I put a "drug store" insole in and it felt better but now all road feel is gone. I have been running in Nike for years as they were always good for narrow fit but lately not so much. If the next update remains wide in the "medium" width I'll be switching brands
