Comments about Nike Zoom Victory Elite Track and Field Shoe: The metal thread plate that hold the spikes broke/cracked on the back two spikes after 4 meets (1 indoor and 3 outdoor). Had to change shoes after 1st race (800 meters) of the 4th meet. One spike was bent over sideways. These shoes were a Christmas gift so I'm past the 90 day return policy after 4 meets. The carbon fibor plate on the bottom is what resulted in the break. Had they been the Victory 2s made out of a rubber compound it would have flexed back into shape. It's unknown why the spike was bent over as these shoes have never touched anything but the track. I take them off as soon as the race is over in order to try and protect them (because of cost). I want to give them another shot, but if I can't exchnage them, then I will have to go back to the Victory 2s. I've been running with the Victory shoes for 5 years now and this is the first time I've had a problem with them. Service and delivery comments: Delivery was prompt, according to my Father, who purchased them for me as a Christmas gift.
