Currently using them for nightly runs. One of the "little things" that I really appreciate about them is that they are quiet. The only improvement? Offer them in desert tan or other light neutral color so they don't show dirt/dust so much. (Yes, with these shoes the only thing Nike left to comment on was the little things.)

Choosing and purchasing sport shoes is a highly personal & subjective endeavor. Guidelines and reviews are helpful, but only as a starting point.

Previously primarily wore Saucony & Asics.
Most recently: owned a pair of Asics Gel-Kayano 19.
Though somewhat of a runner, I primarily regularly walk quite rapidly for long distances & often over uneven, irregular terrain including paved streets (with significant uphills & downhills of moderate severity), grassy fields, dirt roads, rocks, etc.

From the very second I put on the Nike Air Max+ 2013 iteration I knew these were 'perfect' for me. They fit me as though custom made; moreover, with the substitution of Roadrunner's custom-made orthotics I can't imagine a better product for me.
Though listed as neutral, in my opinion they offer me more stability than the Asics Kayano. A 'just right' snugness while maintaining my feet in perfect balance. They cushion beautifully---literally like walking on air. The fit is 'exact' and true to size. Ventilation is excellent. The grip is excellent.
After a number of 5 mile walks my feet, legs, walk, etc felt relaxed and very comfortable.

These Nikes appear to be quite sturdy and it looks like they will wear well (unlike my previous Asics). And to boot, they are quite handsome & versatile with most of my clothing.
Extremely happy with this purchase - including the long-time use of Roadrunner's custom-made orthotics - despite the rather hefty price tag.
Hopefully, Nike won't mess up these wonderful shoes in future iterations as manufacturers tend to do to meet the competition and also to give them an excuse to further raise prices beyond reasonable inflation.
