I have flat feet and these did wonders for me. I usually don't review anything but I'm happy with my purchase. I been playing basketball in these and my feet don't hurt afterwards. They have become my everyday shoe pretty much. I'll be buying more when these are done. The only problem With this shoe is its pretty narrow but i bought mine a half size bigger and it's not really an issue.

laces are off center, seeming to pull foot to side on foot plant. May be an illusion, but seems like a manufacturing mistake.

About half of my exercise is in the form of speed walking. I have very low, flexible arches and need good support, and although these shoes felt good in the store, When I went walking I found that they didn't support my arches at all. My arches were more sore than they had ever been. If you don't need the support that I need you may really like these shoes they are light weight and have lots of cushion.

These guys are awesome! Went to my local Roadrunner Sports and was fitted with custom insoles. I normally run with Nike, then decided to change it up and found myself coming back to Nike. The material is always soft and feels broken in. Ready to run out of the box. Highly recommend becoming a VIP member so you can take advantage of the shoe program that they offer as Nike's do tend to wear down a bit quicker than most running shoes. All in all an excellent pair of shoes.

Loving my new Lunar Eclipse 3. I had originally purchased the Brooks Trance but had nothing but problems. I developed shin splints and all sorts of pain in my legs. I switched to this shoe because it was much softer. Been out on two runs in them so far and have had no pain of any kind. I will be purchasing another pair in the future Nike has me hooked.

I run about 10 to 15 miles a week, and am a heavy, older runner and I am a mild pronator. These shoes are by far the most comfortable pair I have worn over the last 4 years. They have super soft cushioning, which helps me run longer and faster. I have tried saucanys, brooks, and asics, but always end up back in a Nike. I was a big fan of the Nike equalon, but they stopped making this shoe over a year ago, and I have been looking for a replacement since. I believe I have found this in this shoe. With the fly wire design and the material used on the upper I have no hot spots, and they are just all around comfortable, and did I mention soft? The cushioning feels great on my 37 year old joints...I marked these wear quick. I only have 3 weeks in them and the soles are already showing wear. I may be a little early on the wear comment, but that was also a complaint I had about the equalon, so I would not be surprised if this shoe was not the same, but I'm willing to trade a little wear issue for how comfortable these are on my feet.

I bought my first pair in store, and as a switch from another shoe to provide motion control and reduce Achilles problem. That pair is great so I ordered a second online (I live an hour drive from the running store where I usually buy). The second pair is not as comfortable (feels tighter in the heel and like there is something extra toward the heel), but it is getting better with use. The moral of the story is that even shoes of the same brand and type may not be created equal, so try any pair before buying it.

Two months after beginning rehab for my Achilles problem, I ran a marathon in the first pair and had no aggravation (though I did run it slower than usual since I lost some training time).

I should also note that I have wide feet and usually prefer a wider shoe. On this one I went a half size up (from 9 to 9.5) but in the regular fit, and I still have plenty of room.

Overall I'm happy with the shoe but will be more careful in future purchases.

Nice shoe. Really like them. The only problem is the heel part just wears down to quickly. The traction nubs on heel just wear down after 30 miles on pavement.

I wear them for everything (work, gym, casual, walking etc..) I've owned all of the lunar eclipses and so far these are the best, you will not be disappointed. The cushioning in the heal & mid step has been improved making for a better ride. The support has been updated giving it a better fit & feel the shoe is lighter too. I'm on by feet for over 8 hours so I've put them through the test.

I bought these as a replacement for the lunareclipse 2 that I bought last year. The 2's were probably the most comfortable shoe I could ever remember wearing, so when I went to replace them I tried a pair of nike's that were on sale. Big mistake. I ran in them once and sent them back and ordered the lunareclipse 3. They are a solid shoe but don't seem quite up to the level of the 2's.

Shoes are good but a piece of the sole pulled off after two weeks of my son running in them daily. He runs on level dirt, pavement and rubberized track. Roadrunner easily exchanged them for a new pair so we'll see how they work out in a couple weeks....

I bought this shoe in Thailand as it was the only shoe to support a large man such as myself. I have never been keen on Nike stability shoes, but this one seems to be doing fine. I was logging about 15-20 miles a week and was rehabbing my knee as well. These shoes protected me well.
