Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: Love, love, love them!

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: Great pair of running shoes with some stability. I had been running on the treadmill with my Nike Frees all winter and had major issues transitioning back to the increased stability shoes I had been running outside with the previous fall. These shoes are flexible and provide just enough support for me without interfering with my stride.

Cons
Best Uses Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: Lunar Eclipse 2 was the best shoe ever - the 3 doesn't have nearly the energy return; I am disappointed. The new lacing can be difficult to keep the right fit, especially since the toebox is wider, I feel like my foot is slipping around. The one thing that IS an improvement is the top of the heal, around the back of the ankle holds up a lot better.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: Overall, great shoe. I run 3 - 7 miles a day either outside when weather permits or on the treadmill at the gym. I tend to overpronate so was looking for stability and comfort. Very happy with the performance of this shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I purchased these after owning 3 pairs of the LunarEclipse 2 and cannot find them in my size anymore. I first noticed how the lacing is 'off center' (you can't see that in any of the pics). I thought 'maybe that'll be good' having them lace on an angle (down and to the outside). I have run 2 marathons and 5 1/2 marathons in the last 2 years. I wear the same insoles and socks and these shoes make the balls of my feet sore after about 10 miles. I've also noticed my feet over pronating more since wearing them. I've had to go back to an old pair of +2 until I can find something comparable to them.

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: LOVE these sneakers, I have a leisure pair and a running pair. I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis and these helped so much! I tried other sneakers but nothing compared to these!

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I have flat arches, to the point where I used to wear custom orthotics. I've been moving down in support (slowly) and the Lunar Eclipses are fantastic. Super supportive but light and flexible. I use them for long runs, but they are also light enough for racing. I don't feel like I'm wearing men's Brooks. They last about 300-400 miles, which for me is about when I have to replace any shoe. When it's super slippery out, they don't have a huge amount of traction, but generally speaking I love this shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: When I received my Lunar Eclipse 3s I was a little nervous because they didn't feel like they had as much cushion as my 1s and 2s did and I've been a bit paranoid about injury since my stress fracture a couple of years ago. My stepson fiddled with both pairs, my 2s and my 3s and said that the 2 felt like it was better cushioned but that the 3 felt like it responded better. He was right!! I am training for a half marathon and on my long runs, I'd rather have my 3s. My feet and knees feel better in the Lunar Eclipse 3s after a long run than in the 2s. Usually I hate it when they "new and improve" the shoe every year because I don't always think they need improvement but this time I'm wrong. The Lunar Eclipse 3s are great. Maybe Nike can leave them alone this time?
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I didn't even have to break these in. Ran 5 miles first day, 18 next day and my feet felt fine. Dive right in. The atomic pink is a great bright color too so cars can't miss you!

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I liked these shoes right out of the box. Felt good on- no hot spots, width was perfect. I did size up a 1/2 size. Great on the roads, felt cushioned and light. Breathable uppers. The only down side was maybe not enough in the forefoot if I was on rough terrain ( could feel the rocks) or long runs ( greater than 10 miles). My feet were sore after a 12 mile run.

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: Not new to running, however, new to running in the right shoe. Finally found it! I'm a flat-footed over-pronator and my feet have been in heaven. Usually wear a 10 wide, but a 10.5 medium in this shoe is yummy. (Regular shoe size is a 9.) What a difference. Light weight, fashionable - just purchased my second pair as a backup. Very pleased.

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I have struggled for years to find a shoe that supported my high arches (one arch collapses when I run)and still provide stability. These shoes fit the bill. They are very supportive an cushioned. I originally ordered the same size I wore in Asics 2170's but had to return them for the next 1/2 size down.

Best Uses Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I decided to give this shoe a try and was disappointed. The shoe immediately felt 'flat' and I did not like the lack of cushioning. Also, after less than 3 weeks of wear, the bottom of the shoe started to peel away. I returned the shoes today....

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: These are some of the best shoes I have ever ran in, point blank period. Nike really knew what was going on when they made these shoes. I have collapsing arches and I am a mild to moderate over-pronator so when it comes to shoes I'm usually stuck in a rough spot and a hate how heavy motion control shoes are and they restrict my ankles too much. These shoes are perfect, it took a few runs to break them in but they are so well cushioned and the give me awesome support for my problem with over pronating. Great buy, I love these shoes.

Comments about Womens Nike LunarEclipse+ 3 Running Shoe: I spend 40+ hours on my feet for work so I needed to find shoes that would beable to make my days a little easier. I owned Danskos before and they ruined my feet but after I put a pair of these on I felt like I was walking on a cloud and actually had a spring in my step. These shoes are amazing! I even took them out on a 6 mile hike to see how they would hold up but even then they didn't disappoint one bit. Definitely worth the price. I've only had them for a month so lets see how long they last!
