      I am actually a woman who often buys children's running shoes. My size 7 corresponds to a 5.5 youth size in most Nikes. I have the women's Pegasus 30, too, and this children's model seems nearly identical in cushioning and support. Of course this model is much cheaper than the women's! And I like the shoe so much (and the price) that I went back and bought my daughters (ages 12 & 14) both a pair. Great for medium distance running.
