I have had the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit for about four months in Blue. They are the best shoes I have ever owned in my life. I use these shoes at the gym in addition to outdoor running and cycling. Plus, they are also great for casual use too, they look great with everything. They're durable; I have run through snow, sleet, and rain, and these guys still look like they're brand new. I have owned Free 5.0s and Lunarglides before, and these are by far the best. This will become my daily driver for the foreseeable future!

I run 3-4 days per week anywhere from 3-12 miles. These shoes are extremely comfortable and light weight. I am training for my first half marathon and the Nike Free flyknit 4.0 will be my running shoe of choice. I did have to by my second pair in 6 months because the bottoms wore out. But I will buy them again, these shoes are awesome.

Ran 7 marathons and trained in these exclusive and the never let me down.
Suggest owning 2 pair at a time to switch out and make them last longer.
On average I'd get about 350 to 400 miles on them.

I have run in Nike Frees since they were introduced. Love the flexible barefoot feel. The latest frees are stiff heavy and do not provide the barefoot feel I always enjoyed. This shoe has a very firm feel on the road with little flexibility compared to the previous versions. The upper seems fairly similar to the previous versions in fit, unlike the 3.0 flyknit that fits very tight to the foot, which some users may not like. Unfortunately I think they are still the best option out there, I just really do not like them compared to the V4 or V5 versions.

I run 30 miles + a week. I have only run in the 4.0 4-5 times. I tried the Free 3.0 Flyknit and this shoe was a replacement for the Flyknit 3.0--which I only used for a month. Prior to the this I ran in Free 3.0 v 5 for two years. Of the three shoes the 3.0 v 5 is by far my favorite. I wished Nike had left the model alone or made some minor changes. Neither the Free Flyknit 3.0 and the Free 4.0--at least for me--are as good as shoe. Both caused my fee to go numb 3-4 miles into each daily run. I attribute this to the tightness around the middle portion of the shoe. I do have a very high arch and that may have something to do with the way these shoes fit. The 4.0 isn't as flexible as the either 3.0 model I referenced and is not as soft in the area of the instep. Since running in the 4.0 I have developed what feels like a deep bruise in my instep and my lower legs also hurt more since beginning to run in the these shoes. They are just less flexible and as soft of feel in the sole of the shoe. I have gone back to my 3.0 v 5's for the time being. Not sure if I will give the 4.0's another try or perhaps look for a brand other than Nike. I like the minimum feel of the Free but

I'm a little worried that these will run themselves out rather quickly. I primarily use them as trainers at the gym, but they're exceptionally lightweight. While this is a huge pro, I'm afraid if I took them out for a run around town they may not face the weather too kindly.

Really like the shoe overall. The fit with the upper is probably the best I have ever experienced, everything feels snug without being too tight or restrictive. The wide toebox is nice too.

I've put about 25 miles on them, mostly 4 at a time on asphalt. You can really feel the road, I think they ask a lot more of my feet than the structured stability shoes I've used previously.

I will say with the flexibility of the outsole, they don't feel very fast when doing a track workout.

Wide toe box is great! Shoe is light and fast, but narrow. (Like all other Nikes) Great for short runs, but I won't be taking them much over 5 miles. A great addition to the Nike Free line.

A very underrated running shoe. These are amazingly comfortable. I really like the somewhat wider toebox compared to other flyknit models. My foot stays secure and safe. These also look great casually.
