These shoes have been perfect for me. I run trails in dry rocky southern CA. If you like beefy plush cushioned shoes you might not like these. They certainly are not bafefoot like, but they are relatively low and light. The one small complaint is something i've experienced with other nike shoes: the way the heel fits. I can never get a good fit on the heel with Nike shoes. Fits great on the rest of my foot though. Great shoes
Pros Cons Best Uses What an amazing shoe, I run all sorts of races, and these are by far some of the best shoes I've had!

Overview: The Zoom Terra Kiger 2 is the best trail shoe I've owned. Why? They are nimble, lightweight, stable, sticky, secured well on the foot, and are perfect for smooth trails and technical foot rippers alike. The just firm enough midsole is flared at the base, which means a very secure sense of stability. This flaring is so crucial when you're corning downhill and do not want the sensation of tipping over or an ankle inversion. The shoe feels very nimble due to the lack of a rock plate. Your foot will conform over the terrain without being punished. The flywire in the upper works to hold your foot in place, and it's wonderfully breathable and quick drying. The sticky rubber provides great traction over dry rocks, though it's terrible in mud - but then again so are most trail shoes unless you get a specialist pair for those conditions. The ZTK2 refresh offers a bit more durability in the upper (and I think a more secure feeling) and and it also firms up t he heel a bit which is FANTASTIC in terms of increasing the durability of the shoe and its resistance to poke through from sharp rocks. I look forward to trying the third iteration of this shoe in a few months, but for now the 2 is king of my large shoe closet when it comes to trail running.
Pros Cons Best Uses was looking for shoe with more grip for working out, this shoes does that great, i like the smooth transition from heel to toe. I'm 6'1" 225lbs and this shoe has good cushion
This show has great support, comfort and looks to boot. I wouldn't use this shoe for athletic training (sport specific) it's a bit heavy for my taste for that but trail running or hiking (what the shoe is made for) it's spot on!
