Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I've worn many different brands and models of running shoe, but the Zoom Elite has to be the best yet. From track repeats to the Honolulu marathon, I've been very happy with this shoe, which means they'll probably discontinue it next year.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I am always in search of the perfect lightweight, yet supportive shoe. The New Balance 901's were ok, but these shoes are better. Light, supportive, fast. I finally think I've found a shoe I'll buy again (instead of searching for another "perfect" shoe").

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I would give these a 5, but like usual, the inner sock by my ankles are both getting holes in them and then cause blisters just after 250 miles. BUT these are the FIRST shoes to NOT give me blisters on 6 mile runs. At 250 miles, my knees are not hurting yet (I overpronate pretty badly, BUT have high arches-which is contradictary!). I am 5'9 and weigh 135, the bottoms hardly show any wear. They are VERY lightweight, which I love! I was just hoping for more mileage on them!

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

Despite it reputation as more fashion oriented that the "serious" shoe companies, I've always like Nike shoes. My last buying spree included Asics Kayanos and a pair of Zoom Elites. As long as Nike keeps making them (and to this standard!!!) they'll have a customer here. I love this shoe!

This was the ideal mix of cushioning and lightweight running. I've only been running for a little over 2 years, but I'm on my 3rd pair in the last year. They're breathable, and easy to break in. My 5K-a-day habit has been much better for my feet!

By dtrunner

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

The Elite caused the same problem for me as stated by two other runners. When the shoes were new, I ran a 10 mile run. My right ankle was very tender after the run. My tendon was swollen and remained that way for several weeks. The collar on the shoe had caused the problem. I really like the fit and cushioning. I tried to break down the collar stiffness by washing the shoe and wearing it for short speed runs. I can run 5-6 miles in the shoe without injury to my ankle. I would consider buying another pair. This shoe has the kind of full foot cushioning that works for me.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I've been a middle distance/distance runner for 27 years. 5' 11", 168 lbs. 40-50+ miles a week. These have to be, in recent memory, the most comfortable stability shoe I've ever worn. Light and stable. I took them out of the box and I was only going to run 3 easy miles. That turned into an 8 mile run @ 7:00 ppm. I have a narrow heel, and average width feet. Super shoe. Putting in my order for another pair as soon as I get through w/this review. Good job Nike!

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

This shoe just works. Once I put my orthotics in them, I was as happy as a pig in...well, you know. The only problem in here in Australia is that they cost $200, or the equivalent of $140USD based on current exchange rates. I got my first pair for nothing, and now I've got to save my pennies for what has been the perfect long distance racing shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

see my review below. I know that reviews say it's for a fast lightweight runner, but I am not an extreme lightweight and my fast days, alas, are well behind me. Unless you are very heavy with a heavy foot strike, these are great shoes - they don't feel like you're running with bricks on your feet - and I wear a size twelve.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I'm incredibly impressed with this shoe. The weight is deceivingly light. It does not feel like a 10.5 oz. shoe. The fit through the mid-foot is comfortably snug. The cushion is very soft... almost too soft. The Elite is certainly a shoe that sets the standard for training/racing footwear.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I have never been a huge Nike fan, especially when it came to running shoes. But the people at RRS recommended this shoe so I tried it out. So far I love the shoe. It is lightweight and has just enough stability for me without giving me too much. Another thing is the shoe has great cushioning. They feel great on my feet when running or standing around. I plan to buy this shoe again. Finally, I have found a shoe that is as good as my old Asics DS Trainer VII's. Nike do not change this shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I have bought all kind of running shoes from all brands in stability, racing flats and performance trainers; I was very reluctant to buy Nike since i consider them fashion shoes, i still believe they have that image for marketing purposes but i gave them the chance buying this model based on RRS reviews. From all my running shoes among many brands this has the most comfortable fit, don't know of durability though. Great shoe Nike keep improving your models technologically and not so in design which is too flashy for my taste; In that sense copy NB or Mizuno

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

I've been running for 35 years, and this is the best shoe I have worn in at least 15 years. I feel like my old self again. I would describe it as a DS trainer or NB 830 series only with much better cushioning than either of those shoes. The stability is good also, with not too much or too little. Nike, if you are reading this, don't screw up this shoe by changing it like shoe comopanies always do.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Elite Running Shoe:

Loved this shoe when I first got it...lightweight and fit my feet great. However, after a few weeks of running in it, I noticed my arch cramping and started to have pain at the top of my foot and ankle. My feet are flat so I am not sure the arch support is enough in these.
