Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

Great shoe. Very comfortable. Problem is, I only have 50 miles on them and I'd be surprised if the outside heal pads last 100. Have to echo Joe's early comment: one would expect a lot more durability for the price.

I love these shoes. I have had very severe problems with my ankles and sense I started running in these shoes my ankles have quit hurting altogether. I recommend these shoes to anyone with ankle problems or arch problems!

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

I've had three pairs now. Love the way they feel, BUT durability is a huge issue. Very little rubber on the rear shoxs and it wears down fast - maybe 150-200 miles.

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

i hit the ground hard when I run, and this is the best shoe I have ever worn (and throughout the years I have purchased most types of shoes). My legs do not get tired, and my calves feel great after a run. For those who don't like it, I can't help but to wonder if they are all lighter weight/size runners who don't have issues with impact? This isn't the right shoe for someone like that, but if you need as much cushioning as possible, and have a big frame (I am 5'10, 185 lbs and 9% bodyfat), this is the shoe for you. BTW, I have never written a produc review before, and probably won't do another for a long time, so that is how much I like these shoes!

Must agree with Becky...worst running shoes ever. Developed Plantar Fascitis and blisters due to lack of cushioning and narrow fitting.

I have always bought Nike running shoes without any problems until these. I had a blister the first day, and bruises around where the shoes ties on my ankles. No thanks.

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

I like the Shox for running on road surfaces. The Shox actually cushion quite well, but on gravel rails to trails surface the shoe was extremely unstable. I would recommend for someone primarily running on hard surfaces. I liked the Shox for a recent marathon, but think I will go back to a more stable shoe in the future, as I rolled my ankle more times than I can count in the Shox FSM.

This is my 3rd pair of shox's and seems to be my best. Good cushioning for larger runners and nice support. I would recommend for high mileage, moderate paced, above avg size runners.

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

I have a hip flexor injury, so needed extra heel height and a lot of cushion. I really didn't like how these shoes looked, but they felt fine and have turnied out OK. They are heavy, but if you need some heel height and stability they are the best. The ride is much smotther than I thought it would be.

By Joe

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

I liked this shoe as long as the heels held up. I tend to pronate, and I am a heavy runner. At first I was skeptical of the whole heel design of this series of shoes. The Shox FSM changed my mind about them. Recently, I had an inflamed heel, and a friend of mine suggested I try these shoes to lift some of the pressure off the heel. The extra lift from the heel design really took some pressure off my foot and enabled meto keepupsomemoderate running until the heel got better. The downside of this shoe (in my opinion) is that in less than 100 miles of moderate running, the outside of the heel pad wore down significantly - and so for the money I expected more durability. Simply put,the back heel pads are too thin! Otherwise, it is a good stability shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

These are the worst running shoes! They are a gimic totally. There is little cushion and no arch support. A friend of mine started developing plantar fasciitis with this shoes. And you tend to role you ankles because your heel is up so high. Not as good running shoe at all. I would not spend the money on this shoe.

By Scott

Comments about Womens Nike Shox FSM Running Shoe:

The Shox in my opinion is a poorly designed shoe. The heel is much too high and transfers too much energy back to my heel which puts stress on my lower back and achilles. I ran on a treadmill and it's difficult with the Shox heel hitting the deck all the time. They also have poor stability and are bulky. Maybe some day Nike will address these issues. In the meantime I'm sticking with the Air Kantara - great shoe.
