Need to restock fast!!!!!! I ordered a bunch of pairs last time they were available. I love them for everything including long runs and speed work. I get more than the advertised 100K out of them. They are usually good for 3 or 4 hundred miles before they rip out or compact to the point where they need replacement. PLEASE RESTOCK.

This isnt a bad shoe if your looking to get about 50 miles out of them. During a workout they ripped but I would still recomend them if your looking to run fast

this shoe is amazing, it may take one race to get used to the feel, but the second time i raced in these shoes i dropped a full 35 seconds off my 5k PR. i went from a 17:25 to a 16:50

Really good shoe for racing. It doesn't run small though, I think it is kind of big. I usually wear 10.5, but I wear 9.5 for Mayflys. They have a lot of cushion for its light weight. Good for road races, but may not be good for slippery muddy races.

very nice shoe for up to 10k. I am 66 yrs old 5'11" 180 lb. I use these in sprint and olympic distance triathlons. I will buy another pair when I wear these out.

Buy them, they're cheap and a good value. Even if you put them on and don't like them, someone you know will take them. Two points: 1) Buy your usual flat or spike size (unisex). Despite RRS's description, they do NOT run 1/2 size small. If anything they run a little large. 2) Don't believe the line that these fall apart at 100km. People put hundreds of miles on these.

I have several pairs. My favorite racer. Every PR I've ever had on the road was with Mayflys. If you can, get them in different colors and wear them mismatched.

It's the only shoes I use to do races. There're awesome and I highly recommend them.I use one pair for season ( 1 year of races = 12 races or more = 80 miles or more )and I'm in my second pair.I already got another new pair waiting in my closet for the next season( 2008-2009 ).

I prefer to run barefoot but since I cant, this is the next best thing! I would give it 5 stars but the nylon tends to rip on the inside next to my big toe. (I have a wide foot) I have been using these shoes for 2 seasons of racing. I average 15 triathlons per season.

Thu, August 09,2007:
VERY LIGHT! I normally wear a 13 but ordered a 12 as a 13 wasn't available. Some have said these run big but found the 12 very snug but usable in 5k or less. So far used in one 5K and it was a PR, maybe the course, the day or the shoes. As expected cushioning and support is minimal. No leg or foot pain after race, but would be leary of using them too often.

Fri, July 20,2007:
Great cushioning for such a light shoe...and it come with a great show bag. The downsides are the round, synthetic laces that won't stay tied, and the lack of a heel counter means I had to buy down 1/2 size to keep my foot and the upper from sliding on the midsole with every footstrike.

These shoes have a great comfortable feel. They feel like you are running on a soft rubber road. I am 5' 6", 185 lbs and 59 years old. I do not get any foot or leg pain from jogging/running in these shoes. I have been jogging/running for several years and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever used. I jog and run for only about a mile and a half twice a day to keep in good physical shape.

very light weight..don't use them for track, they have no grip, only use for road races..and stop after 100k...the coushion in the shoe is useless after that and will only get u injuired if u try to run on it.

I wore the Mayfly for my first marathon and they were great. They were lightweight and comfortable throughout the race. If you are looking for an extremely lightweight shoe that will help you run fast then these are the shoes for you.

size down a half size, these shoes were great for one race but they fell apart after the race which was about two and a half miles. Don't go with nike, they only want your money, they dont care about you or you performance, i dont about everyone else but im sticking with puma. Nike gives us runners a bad name

My first racing flats, I think that they are great. They aere very light, very fast, and very flexible. I used mine for track and ran the 2 mile in 11:40, now I use them for Cross Country and set my new P.R. of 10:50

Sat, June 17,2006:
Not too much traction but good stability. Does the molded sole get worn down after a couple of races? No, I've worn a pair past the 100k mark, and while the tops are dirty, the soles are hardly worn at all! (Forget that 100k limit--I'm always hearing about people who wear these for hundreds of miles.)

Wed, June 14,2006:
Wear them for all training and racing. Got close to 400 miles on the first pair - nothing wore away, the midsole was just compacted. A great deal: $45, No air - which I like - no extra plastic crap or seams. For me, a perfect shoe. At first, it's not as flexible as I'd like, but after awhile, I don't notice cause of the light weight. Overall, a good deal.

I haven't gotten these shoes yet but I've heard alot of good things about it. If your a light person and runs on flat courses then this is the shoe for you. I've heard that this shoe is not that good for down hill running.

Fri, May 27,2005:
I agree with Mr. D. If you race fast, you have to offset the flywheel effect, and nothing does it better than these! Just what you need and nothing more, if you don't mind tying them on. I've been showing mine off since last summer and can't understand why I don't see more of them out there. Surprisingly soft ride for a flat, even a bit mushy because the sole is all cushioning material. Great for flat racing up to 10k. Take a chance on these, and you'll get a big payoff in the last mile and the kick- Nike rules!

I am a 220 lb 6'3" runner with flat arches. I used to train in the New Balance 1122 but found they wore out too quickly and didn't provide enough support. It'd been a while since I had a Nike on my foot but these did it for me. They are the most supportive shoe I have ever worn, and with 650 miles on them they also appear to be the most durable!!! I would recommend these to any fat worthless person that would be better off chopping their stomach off with a machette than running like me.

These shoes run HUGE! I wear a 10.5 in most Nike's, and the 10.5 in these fit like a floppy sock. Looks like a great shoe, but I will have to return them and get a new size before I get to try them out.

I decided to experiment and run a marathon in these shoes. They're great on flats, but they don't offer much for downhill running. If you're running a flat, fast course, these are great.
