5'9" 155 lbs, high arch, like soft shoes. bought these at RRS b/c cheap price. ran in once on track x 4 miles. not soft. felt like concrete strapped to my feet. sent back. but they're a good buy.

I am on my 7th pair of Shox 2:45 shoes and dread the day when I cannot get them. I run 45-50 miles per week including one 13-14 mile long run in them each week. Great shoes! They keep your feet going for longer than you would think. I disagree with anyone who says these shoes are tireing to your feet. Without my pair of these I would have tired out of more than one run.

I disagree strongly with the assesment of the one other reviewer (that apparently needed to hit the submit button three times).

I'm was planning to use this shoes for my NYC Marathon, but develop pain around the ankles due to the shoe's narrow width. This shoes is not for long distance running.
