Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoe:

It took me a while to come back to the nike shoe. Wifey was shoppin, and I needed an excuse to start running again.Years ago I ran The LA marathon in the sock trainer ,and I believe this is the closest and more comfortabe shoe you can find at this price. I later went back to this store and got two more pairs ,and have been running fairley steady ever since. Cool looking shoes as well.

Great shoes!
P.S. Just because the shoes don't fit your wide feet doesn't warrant a low review.

Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoe:

The fit is way too narrow for my feet. I returned these shoes in favor of less expensive barefoot running.
The fit is not for everybody but everbody I see in them is not using them as Nike intended. A word of caution: Nike advises that these shoes only be used as a training tool and not as your regular running shoe. I've seen those who ignore this advice get sidelined do to stress injuries. Buy these shoes only as a tool to supplement the miles you log in a more protective (cushioning and/or stability) shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoe:

These shoes may strengthen your feet but they can really annoy your knees--they did mine. If you are on the heavier side (180+), over age 50, and have any biomechanical issues (misalignment, muscle imbalances, etc.) running in shoes like these that have no cushioning to speak of could be trouble. To be safe, start using them gradually and run slowly for really short distances.

Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoe:

I am certainly no "elite" runner. In fact, I only log in 3-5 miles a day, 3 days a week, as part of my exercise routine. However, I have been running in these shoes for a year and a half now... every time I run... and they are the most wonderful, comfortable shoes I have ever had. I am an ER nurse who works on his feet all day, and I used to have problems with foot pain that went away after I switched to these shoes. I know that regular training is not what Nike intended with this design, but it sure works for me.
