They offer good cushioning. However, the stability is the problem. After three weeks of running I developed tendonitis. I bought the Nike's Air Structure Triax 9 instead. These shoes have excellent stability and cushioning.

I run anywhere from 35-50 miles a week training for the Boston Marathon 06' and I abosouletly love this shoes............They provide enough comfort and stability for long distances and they just don't wear out. I recommend these shoes to anyone who is seriously considering long distance running or ...

I'm 6'2 and weight in at 225. These shoes do an outstanding job cushioning and provide solid control. I'm buying two more pair just in case these wear out after a few hundred miles.

I've run in all three versions of the Shox TL. The I and II both wore the outside rear Shox column way too early (I run 20 miles/week). There was enough wear by 100 miles that I was using Goo after each run to build the heel, since the rest of the shoe was like new. With the TL II, I reurned them...
