Someone on this board called it the Mercedes Benz of shoes....obviously this person really like this shoe but I think we'd find a Ford Taurus parked in the driveway. Without question, the Mercedes analogy is reserved for the Brooks and the Asics of the world..these days probably Brooks. Nevertheles...

I didn't care for this shoe at all. I'm 6'and 215 lbs and run abour 15 miles a week. This shoe absolutely killed my feet as the upper is way too tight. They started breaking down after a month. Would not recommend to heavier runners.

The best shoe I have ever had. It is the Mercedes-Benz of running shoes. It is so effortless and painless. Its like floating, plus its soft like marshmallows. Marshmallows yum!!

Two months on this shoe and I developed Achilles Tendonitis for the first time in 28 years of running. It is EXTREMELY soft. Watch out!

This shoe has great cushioning and is light weight but it's a snug fit, even for Nike. I got blisters on my heel and sole on a 10 mi run. I have a slightly wider than avg foot so factor that in to this review

This shoe was perfect for me. Maybe not for everybody, but after a lot of reading, I tried the Vomero and finally found the right shoe. I'm a 25 mile per week runner that carries 10-15 pounds more than a regular runner. The extra cushion is a life saver. I've never had any pain from the shoe, alt...

Good shoe, great cushion feel. Only negative is durability. They seem to wear quickly, especially on the sole. Mine were fairly worn down afer 250 miles.

Quaulified for Boston wearing this shoe. Ran 80-85 miles per week alternating pairs and had no injury or problems whatsoever. These shoes do not require an insert, and they wear fairly well.

I like how most Nike's uppers are snug, but this one is too snug. Also, the outsole is a bit too large & wide for the responsive ride a shoe like this should have. Otherwise, it's nice and light, has great cushioning and smooth heel-toe transition. I'll have to try the Elite to see if I can get the ...

MCM is right, these shoes are quite soft and narrow in the forefoot. However, I love those qualities in a shoe. Just because this shoe isn't right for a particular person, doesn't make it a bad shoe. I'm on my second pair and I love them.

I rotate the brands/models of shoes I run in each day, and at any given time I'm using 5 or 6 different pairs of shoes. I've had great experiences with Adidas and Mizuno, and good experiences with ASICS and Saucony. I thought I'd rotate a pair of Nikes in, and bought the Vomero's because RRS had a...

Great ride. Very soft. I am a bigger runner, and this was a really plush ride for me. Only downside, the shoe wore out all at once, right around the 175 mile mark. The plastic arc on the bottom cracked in half on both shoes. The soles wore out also, but it still is a soft ride.

By far the best running shoe I've ever worn. The cushioning is unsurpassed by any other shoe I've worn. The only negative is durability, but frankly I would sacrifice that any time for the lack of wear and tear on my knees and legs. If you want a cushioned (like no other), comfortable shoe this is...

Nicest riding, softest shoe I've ever used. Would be 5 stars if not for the erratic fit and durability. 1st pair were really narrow but lasted about 350 miles. 2nd pair fit better, still tight though, but were shot at 200 miles. Back to Asics I guess.

Beware, these shoes are TOO SOFT! I ran in the Mizuno Wave Riders previously, and tried these because they were very comfortable when I tried them on, and when I took them on a short run (3 miles). But after training in them for a month (speed workouts and long runs), I developed tendonitis in bot...

The shoe is a tad bit tight in the toe box but not too bad for me as I have narrow feet but I have to say at age 47, I have increased my mileage to over 50 miles per week for over two months and it has been possible because of the awesome cushioning this shoe has. Im 6'5" and 190 and the durability ...

Great shoe overall, excellent cushioning and flexibility. Downside: the outside of the sole has only the softest materials, which makes them wear out WAY too fast if you're a supinator. I can only get 200 miles or so!

I have always had to wear motion control shoes, but I now have customized orthotic and can wear the Vomero. Good shoe, and have narrow feet, so I hope the II is not much wider.
