Comfortable fit and lacing system. Good for pronation control too, but is very very stiff. i thought i could get accustomed to the stiffness, but ended up injured after a few weeks

The first time I slipped the Air Cesium on my foot I said, "Somebody finally made a motion control shoe with true arch support!" I've been running for 24 year and I'm a high-mileage runner (50 miles per week) and I weight 160 lbs. This is hands down the best shoe I've ever run in. The Air Cesium ...

Great training shoe for relatively light (155lb) overpronators like myself. I wouldn't recommend for longer runs, though, as they don't offer the greatest cushioning. But for tempo and speed runs, they are light and comfortable. I trained about 150 miles in these prepping for my first marathon. ...

My favorite shoe ever!!!! The off-set lacing is GREAT!! With other shoes I have either pain on the top of my foot or the heel slips (no matter how creatively I lace them). I like how they ride low to the ground. For me the unique motion control works well(though I usually wear them with my orthot...

I don't know what Nike was thinking when they started selling these shoes as a Motion Control shoe. Weighing 172 lbs. (I'm not the lightest)and running in M/C shoes for almost 25 years, these are by far the worse shoes I have ever bought. These shoes have no lateral support in the mid and forward pa...

I am a novice or inxperienced runner who's been running for the past 10 years as a soldier (formation runs, PT Tests, speed work etc.). My fist inpression of the Cesium was that although the lenength fit my foot the rest of the shoe, especailly the toe box felt too wide. I hit a local running trail...

I heard great things about this shoe from friends but am disappointed now that I own them. Pros: lightweight, comfortable, nice looking. Cons: heel are began to wear & depress after 50 miles; do not provide support on long runs. Relegated now to once a week on 4-6 mile runs. Brroks Beast still my sh...

Very good shoe, great motion control, interesting cushioning. Y tried many others shoes, but these are the best motion control shoe , and is very light.

Interesting shoe. Had to return 1st pair so YES, buy one size up. Easily the best general purpose running shoe that I have ever purchased in 30+ years. Great motion control AND light weight. 1st time that you slip these on, you'll wonder how they can work. They do! Light weight, responsive an...

Nice shoe. Nike understands the interplay between a softer lateral heel and a supportive medial side to create a stable ride. Surprise-surprise, works like a charm! Fit is a bit odd - kinda loose, but it works. Shoe is really light. Hope the Cesium only gets better in upcoming versions.

Mon, July 23,2007:
I have to say being a consistent Nike running shoe owner, this pair of shoes is quite honestly the best pair of running shoes I have ever owned. I have flat feet and have worn orthotics but this shoe eliminated the need for those and I have been running in total comfort for the past 10 months. They ...

I am 6'/165lbs, severly over pronate and have not been able to train seriously, or pain free, since I tore my achilles about 5 years ago. I usually wear the Asics Kayano (since the Kayano I, if they called it that) but was looking for a better alternative. Enter the Cesium. I was initially a bit ...

Very different feel from traditional shoes. Built-in wedge actually tilts your feet toward the outsides of the shoe. Very effective, but you'll either love 'em or hate 'em. They almost feel like a racing flat. I'm 5'10" and 175 and have several hundred miles on them. Good durability. Great if ...

Completely different than any other motion control shoe out there. Lighter, softer, more flexible, and they REALLY stop pronation cold. I have low arches and pronate a lot - with most shoes, I tend to feel like my feet are rolling inward through my entire stride, even with chunky motion contro...

I love them. I'm a moderate pronater, and after some achilles tendon issues, a physical therapist wanted me to wear an orthodic. The orthodic was stiff and uncomfortable. The Cesium accomplishes the same thing, has a soft and stable ride. The only downside for me is the price. It's very novel c...

Cesium is a miracle. I have had IT band problem ever since I started running (about 4 years ago). I tried numerous ASICS shoes. I tried motion control and stability. With and without orthotics. NOTHING WORKED. I almost started believing that my legs are not meant for running and there is no right sh...

I was looking forward to this shoe, because I needed a good motion control shoe. I made it about 3 miles before I had to stop and walk home. They felt like a torture device. I never returned a Nike shoe before until now. If you have pronation problems, it's better to see a podiatrist and get a pair ...

It seems a number of reviewers bought this shoe without doing any research. It weighs 11 oz.; OF COURSE it doesn't have tons of cushioning. This is like buying a Porsche and expressing shock that it's not good for moving boxes or driving your kids to soccer practice.

Wed, April 11,2007:
Although it has an awkward ride and feels clunky at times, you can't beat the flexibility and weight in a MOTION CONTROL shoe. More companies should make shoes like this.

Finally an answer to my flat feet. I tried every brand of motion control such as saucony, NB, & brooks and I just felt like I was never going to get better at running. I was getting by with a set of Nike Air Triax Structure with added insoles until the Air Cesium came along. I have developed a mo...

Worst pair of running shoes I've had (flat feet, 5'10", 180lb). Looks great, light, but poor lacing system, little cushioning. Going back to Asics Gel Evolution!

I ran the cesium in US 12,5 - usually I have this size. But the shoe was so width that I bought US 12. But even in US 12 the shoe ist so large that I have to use a special trick to fix 'em on my feet. Very bad. I cannot understand why Nike is using those kind of tying lacings. Normally the cesium wo...
