Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

Terrible shoe. Can't get the darn thing on without twisting my foot in every direction because the tongue is attached to the sides. I dread the thought of putting them on again. Bringing them back.

Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

These are about the worst shoe I have worn. They fit nicely but provide absolutely no cushion. I usually run on a smooth trail and can feel every bump. Would have sent them back, but the 60 days was up. I only wear them for very short runs.

Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

I did not like this shoe mostly because it wasn't quite right for my foot. This caused problems with sore knees I think, but my biggest problem with the shoe is the lack of tongue. I ended up with numb feet the first few weeks I was using them to train for a half-marathon. They never felt tight enough around the foot area, but always felt a little too snug by my ankles, cutting off vessels when feet naturally swell in the heat. Other than that, it got me through lots of bad and good runs, so happy running!

Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

This is my 5th pair of SHOX 2:40, however, this new model is nothing like the last one. My toes go numb and I've developed plantar fascitis. My last pair made it through 3 1/2 marathons and training up to those races, with no problems. I do not recommend this new model at all.

Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

I bought these before the PF Chang's RnR in Phoenix in January. I wore them for a few weeks, but after a longer run (13 miles), I noticed my knee started bothering me. I figured it would get better before the race, so I just stayed off my feet for the next 10 days until the race. I got to Phoenix, laced up and ran the 26.2 and dealt with severe knee pain for the next 4 months! I completely blame the shoe- I think the lower shox don't provide as much cushioning as the Shox Cogs that I had been wearing. At any rate, I didn't think much about it again, just didn't choose to wear the shoes again. My 12yo daughter and I went out on a run and she asked if she could borrow a pair of my running shoes. Since the 2:40s had been sitting for months, I said she could have them. After about 3/4 of a mile, she said "Mom, did you knee ever hurt when you wore these shoes?" I never once mentioned my suspicions about the shoes to her! I do love my Shox Cogs, but I absolutely do NOT recommend th

Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

6'1", 170, high arches and the 2:40 seemed like the right shoe. Like the way it seems to propel you forward. My only problem is that it gives me a blister on the inside of my foot. I attribute this to the shoes being too narrow. I partially blame myself; I knew Nikes tended to be more narrow than Asics, but tried to make the switch anyway.

Comments about Womens Nike SHOX 2:40 Running Shoe:

When I first purchased this shoe, I thought it was just okay and would have rated it 3-stars. But now that I've put over 100 miles on them, they seem to have become a little bit softer. They are now my favorite shoe for my weekend long runs. I will probably buy another pair before Nike does something to it that I don't like!
