Highly recommend for any male runners that have sensitive skin or easily gets a skin chapped during long distance runs. I have used the nipguard during marathon training to 10k. This is better than body glide because body glide wears off by mile 6 for me.

My nipples chafed really bad during a Spartan race last year, so this year I knew I had to protect my nips.

I bought this product knowing I would get wet and muddy, and expected them to come off after a few miles or obstacles. I figured even saving my nipples for a mile or two would help the chaffing. To my surprise, they stayed on the entire time! Even while swimming, dunking myself in mud, crawling under barbed wire, and sweating like a beast.

The only thing I didn't like was how visible it was under my shirt. I definitely looked like I had really large protruding nipples, but it was worth it. No chaffing, no pain, my nipples stayed happy and smooth with NipGaurds.

Great product that eliminates any nipple chafing that could ruin a run. I've used them from sweating heavily on the treadmill to 100 mile ultras. Never failed. They stay on.

These work great...if they stay on long enough. They seem to be hit or miss, even after I follow the directions on the package. Which, were covered up by the price tag so I didn't see it the first time I used them. I used them one time and they ended up at the bottom of my shirt.

Tremendous product!! I was worried they'd fall off during my recent half-marathon, but they stayed right in place! Once I put them on at the beginning, I completely forgot about them until I needed to take them off after the race. I had chaffed nipples one time before and never want to put up with that again!

These are the best things I have found to help with nipple chaffing. They look a little funny through your shirt but that is nothing compared to a bloody trail down it! If it is really humid and I sweat a lot they do fall off but that usually isn't until about mile 15-18 so they hang on for most of a marathon.

Those wonderful body changes brought on by aging!
Now about any shirt causes problems when I get over a few miles.
Tried lubricants. They finally stopped working and ruin your shirts in the process.
These things stay in place, even with heavy sweating; remove easily (even with hair); and stop chafing dead.
Only downside is that it's sometimes a project getting them off the backing.

These work as advertised. Don't really notice you are wearing them once one. Take a few minutes to put on and then they just work. A little pricey for a pack of 10 but hard to put a price on pain avoidance.

If you are looking here, then you have either found out first hand why you need these, or are lucky enough to have someone point you in this direction before you did. What people say about these is true. You may get a funny look from people who don't know why you are wearing these, but they can save you from a LOT of pain. I wear them any time I am running more than 6 miles, but I am sure that everyone will need to assess this for themselves. These stay put while you are running, but come off fairly easily. I have considered trying circular bandaids as a less expensive alternative, but I am just not willing to risk it.

I like the guards for long runs, but they can look a little awkward if you are not wearing a loose shirt. Even still, they provide great protection.

The question you have to ask yourself is what comes first, fashion or function? Functionally, these work awesome. No more bloody nipples and they come off easily when you're done. However, with them on you could very likely poke someone's eye out and you will draw some funny looks from non-runners who don't get it. That said, if I'm going longer than 10k, I don't mind looking funny.

Very good product, I bought this after I was fed up from injuries following long runs over 70 minutes. I did not know which product I should choose, so I decided to use this one based on the reviews I read. I was very surprised to find it very effective and good in preventing injuries. It does not come off even if you sweat a lot. To remove it you should use water and you can do that in the shower you take after your run. The only thing I was wondering is why I did not use it before…..
