NIKE + iPod® SENSOR & RECEIVER KIT :: Pick your mix and motivate your run. Nike + lets you listen to tunes while you track your progress on your iPod® nano. Simply slip the Nike + sensor into your Nike + ready shoe and head out. The sensor turns on automatically when you walk and then transmits audible performance feedback through your headphones. Track speed, distance, pace and calories; and then use your computer to upload the data to nikeplus.com and view your progress.

Using for 6 months now. Great idea, great web based tools and excelent motivation tool. The problem is that the distance is far for being accurate. Only have one dimension, so elevation and size of your step (if you run faster near the finish) is not taked into consideration.

Major Software Glitches!!! I have lost numerous runs, just today...after coming back from my 18 mile run...it was not there??? While Nike+ remains a good idea, it does have numerous software glitches that will prevent me from purchasing any more sensors. I have tried using my wife's Nano, just to c...

I hate giving a 1 star to this because it helped me get into running. Was not accurate however. Even after calibration my running partners had the same problem. We went to the Garmin...Haven't looked back. Great Idea Nike, hooked me into buying two pair of shoes!

Great product and website with one catch. I used it with an Asics shoe and a Marware holder while training for the Chicago Marathon. It worked great for two months, but then the battery died. That's when I found out that you can't replace the battery and have to buy a completely new sensor for $2...

I live in the midwest and the sensor gives completely inaccurate readings in anything under 50 degrees.

How in the world could this product only be 20 something bucks. This thing is awsome. It has change the way I run, I don't need to jump in my car and drive around trying to mark the distace ran. One thing, when you wear it put it on you shirt or some where that it can't get the reciever wet. As soon...

Make sure you calibrate it frequently. It will give you false times and distances. I recommend you calibrate it at a track at least every 2 weeks.

I have only had a few small runs with this new device but I love it already. I like knowing I can blaze new trails and it will record the proper mileage for me and let me now my calorie burn and average pace. I think as time goes on the technology for this product will improve and maybe even include...

I, personally love this item, being an old, indoor treadmill lover. It tells me how far I have gone, how long I have to go...whatever I set it on. It is motivational for me. It may not be completely accurate, but it can be calibrated to each persons stride, which helps. Also, it is acurate on ac...

Hopefully this answers some questions posed by others. Unfortunately no, you cannot use this device with any IPod outside of the Nano. Apple's and Nike's reasoning for this changes on a monthly basis. You do not have to buy the Nike+ shoes to use the device. Marware offers a great option, a sm...

Sounds like a great idea, BUT Nike will not tell you what technology this device employs. If it actually worked and was accurate, why won't they tell us??? It's not GPS Like Garmin or Timex. Is it inertial, like Polar??? Those suck, FYI. I run on trails in the trees and have bought them all. I c...

Overall, this is a great little gadget. It is inspiring to hear one's progress with the mere touch of a button. However, the distance tracking fluxuates even after calibration, when I run the exact same route a second time; and unless I am doing something wrong or my kit is defective, the pace per...

I am a relatively new runner and the Nike+ equipment has really helped to aid me in my running. Being a tech geek it was actually a novel way to get me out of the house and onto the road. The interface is quite simplistic and easy to set up in iTunes, and the Nikeplus.com web page is very comprehens...
