Mine also arrived DOA, a quick call to Batteries Plus and I've found a new bettry for less than $4.00. The watch was closeout for $20.00 so for the price and function the dead battery is no big deal. Can't wait to train with it!

purchased 2 of these because of the great price. they appear to be brand new but both appear to have dead batteries. the manual says these the normal battery life on these is 1-year so i guess it makes sense if they have been sitting on the shelf for a couple years.
i am going to get new batteries tomorrow. hopefully that's all that is wrong with them...

I bought this hoping to have it work with my touch. It will sync up but doesn't work (per nike) It only controls the nano. So be warned. Rumors of a new version coming that will work with the touch. Works great with nano. Battery was dead when I bought it too. Had to go to a specialty battery store, battery not usually carried at common stores. (walmart, target, kohls, etc)

Received watch as a gift. Watch battery was DOA. Watch strap is cut to your size. Once strap is cut that is it. Got a new battery on-line from another company instead of returning the watch to RRS.

Works exactly well. For people having problems to sync them. 1) Change the batteries, the LED turning on is NOT a good indicator. 2) Just press the play button on the remote and magically you will see the "remote" menu function showing.

Just got this today, spent hours trying to sync it with my ipod (and yes I tried troubleshooting and going to different websites to try different techniques). I will be sending this back tomorrow to exchange for another one...hope it works

This things is AWESOME, so easy to control during running, no need to slow down to change songs or volume. Also, it controls the stopwatch on the nano as well. It's not cheap, but if you run alot, is money well spent.

A little more than I would like to pay for no more than it does. However, I do like not having to stop running to change voulme, song, check pace, distance, etc. Nike, this product does exactly what you said, and the watch is nice feature.

Great Product! It is so much easier to control the IPOD during running, It is quite difficult during running to control the volumn but now it is so much easier. It is a nice surprise that it also tell time.
