After my forth run my LCD screen had big large spots on it. Now my screen is completely black. This would be an excellent product if they would just fix this problem. After calibration I found it very accurate but what good is it if you can't monitor your running pace? I have to say I am extreme...

I pre-ordered it and got one of the first ones in April '08. In Sep '08 Nike suggested I return it when the distance uploaded didn't agree with what it said on the LCD screen on one of my runs. Otherwise, the only issue I have is that the further your run, the less accurate it is. Even after cali...

I too like the product and the concept however my lcd screen is starting to go and am going to return it. Reading the other reviews now I am not sure if I will opt for another one or if I will just wait for them to fix the problem.

Same story. I think it's a neat gadget, but the LCD stop working. Thought I was the only one first but I see many others have the same issue.

About to return my second one...first one had a busted LCD out of the box. This one lasted about 2 months before the LCD went bad. Moderately accurate, and useful for when you can't wear headphones. I hope Nike comes out with v2.0 and beefs up the LCD. (Nike, if you're listening, a backlight would b...

Terrible execution of a great idea. I'm sending back my third sportband with the same LCD/no connection errors. They seem to last two weeks, then the problems start. The only decent thing is that Nike has taken the return and issued a credit with each one. Too bad they don't sell Forerunners.

Great idea... el crapo execution. Stylish, lightweight, easy to use. Once calibrated... accurate enough for the recreational+ runner. However.... display goes bad, or USB doesn't work, or just plane dies early. I'm on #3. When it works... I love it. They just break all the time. : (

I had the SportBand for about 4 weeks (about 20 uses) before the LCD died. I returned it and did not get another after reading so many other reviews about the LCD failures. Before it failed, I was satisfied with the Sportband/Nike+ combination. You can't beat it for the price. However, I would s...

Stay away from this junk. Another busted LCD. Only took four runs to do it.
Not very accurate when working (even after calibration) and breaks very quickly.

At first sight, this seems like a neat tool for any runner. The price was a bit high, (but cheaper than some other running devices) so I took the chance and tried it.
Downloading and getting registered for Nike was easy enough, but I found it very hard to calibrate and several of my runs did not g...

The idea is cool, but the actually execution sucks. The screen busted immediately, and it wouldn't even upload my runs into my account. I'll look for something more reliable.

Nice and light. Great for flat runs. After two weeks, the screen started to have problems. I ended up having to return it. The cashier told me that this was the 3rd one this week that has had the same problem. I'll buy again once Nike fixes the problem.

Excellent product.. if the LCD screen worked properly. Both mine and a friends digital display had difficulties after only a week or two. If Nike fixes it..they have a real winner of a product. It saddened both of us to return it..

I had been using my Nike+ iPod. I like this better. I prefer my Oakley Thumps for listening to music while I run and this works great with that.
I am trying to get in the habit to wear this all of the time so I am always ready to run. I found that I would forget my iPod or the sensor and I wou...

This product is so cool. I am a mentor with Team In Traning so I cannot run with music on my team runs on Saturdays. This is a great alternative in the Nike+ series if you don't/cannot run with an iPod. The price is really incredible for all of the technology. It is very accurate and user friend...

I really enjoy this item. It is comfortable and stylish. I wear it as a watch throughout the day, and it helps to remind me of my run later that day. I am still working with the calibration, but have no real issues yet. The online software is great, and I am very impressed with all the features ...

This is a rather nice alternative to using the IPod Nano. However it is still hard to get an accurate calibration for the distance. Otherwise, I like the ease of logging my workouts; and it is great for traveling as you can store multiple runs before downloading.
