The best GPS watch for my needs. I have a Garmin 310 also, but it is too bulky to race in. My race watch lap button kept not activating, so I raced with the Nike watch this weekend. I set up autolap for every mile. It is light and comforatable, gave me a nice split readout, and was more accurate than the course mile markers. I didn't have to do anything. The only down side is after the first week I saw the battery drain overnight. A reboot of the watch fixed this, but now I worry that it might do it again some time so I make sure and check it before a key run. Also, if you have bigger than average wrists it may not fit. I'm 175 lbs, average boned and I'm on the last notch.

I love this watch! It's the best thing that has happened to my running. The only dispointment is that the description of the product doesn't specifically say that only 1 type of Polar HRM strap works with the watch. I already had a Polar strap but it's not compatible.
I've had to call the support line a couple of times but I don't mind. They usually answer within one ring, and if they don't their phone system will call you back when a rep is available. The reps are very knowledgeable...I love calling them!!

Awesome watch! It's by far one of my most prized possessions. I use it for an everyday watch and to help me track my runs and it does both amazingly. It's a very unique look that I get compliments on daily, plus grouped with the nikeplus online services it is a fantastic running tool.

Beyond initial setup issues on my Mac, I was able to get everything working properly. On my Mac, I switched from Safari to Chrome and was able to download the software needed. I was automatically made aware of a firmware update, which installed easily.

The GPS functionality, coupled with the included sensor make for very accurate runs. If you plug in the watch to your PC/Mac prior to a run, the watch will receive updated satellite location information, which makes connecting with a satellite simple and quick. Using the Polar Wearlink Transmitter Nike+ is also a cinch. Overall, I am so very pleased with this product. While I work out in the gym 6 mornings per week, I am actually eager to double-up my workouts by running after work several nights just because I enjoy using the watch so much.

Well, not just the watch, I also get a kick out of using the Nike+Dashboard, which is a great online tool for tracking your runs and seeing progress. I travel to China often and being able to run there with my Sportwatch is great, but being able to upload my runs each day is even a bigger thrill. Nike has done a great job with the hardware and online tools.

Excellent GPS watch for daily use.
Primarily used for ultramarathon training on roads and trails. Very good reception with tree cover. Very accurate with satellite mapping feature.
Only limitation has been the battery life of <8hrs. Generally not a problem, but did present as an issue on a 12 hr race.

I am a daily runner and purchased this watch to track an endurance run. I read the reviews and descriptions on lots of GPS watches and struggled to find one that would last over 6 hours. The Nike watch was rated to run for 8 hours and I use Nike+ already so it made sense to give it a go.
The race was in the mountains of West Virginia and took me nearly 9 hours to complete. Over 30 miles of dense woods etc, in the valleys and ridge tops. The Nike GPS watch did not give me a low battery warning until I was finished at 8:52:00 just 8 minutes short of 9 hours.

The Garmin watches that several of the runners were using did not last (batteries died) and the runners kept asking me "What is our average pace","how many calories have we burned" etc. The Garmins have to pause the GPS to check run stats other than current pace/distance. With the Nike you can view your current pace, time, distance, avg pace, calories, time elapsed, the clock etc.

All in all, I love this watch! Its a great piece of equipment!

Easy to get started synced with sensor and satalite withen 2-4 seconds. My only issue is that it does not upload Pace to my social media sites like the Nike+GPS App which by the way is free. That's the only reason it did not get 5 stars.

I am currently getting back into the running world after taking a year off. I HATED the treadmill and the Garmin system, but wanted to know how far I was running on the roads. This device is so simple to use. Plus if you get the shoe sensor, if you have to run on the dreadmill, it will keep track of your work out.

This is The greatest watch I Everest owned. It's functionality is excelent. My only complaint is durability. After three months of excelent service on a morning run The watch died, The screen went blank and all tries to bring it back were unsuccesfull. Contacted RRS and they will have only 30 days of warranty, so I was directed to Nike, After all their tries to bring it back, The conclusion was that it was dead. Now is a return process for ań exchange that can talke un to 90 days. Well see how this go. Will updated later. AVArgas

I agree with pretty much all the other reviews about functionality and quality. While I love the watch I must add that the volt yellow color gets dirty very quickly. After a couple weeks of 3-4 runs a week, the volt is discoloring and graying around the edges.

I love this watch. I was set on buying a Garmin but the prices were a little above my budget and I really didn't need anything too advanced. And their more basic models had some negative reviews. So after seeing a blog review for the Nike+ I decided to give it a try. It is super easy to set up and use, I really like the style (I got the bright green) and i like that I can plug it directly into my computer without a cable (although it does come with one). It's a bit bulky on me, but I have skinny wrists, and it's really not too bad. I briefly owned a Garmin 305 which was way too big for me. The 305 also gave me way more information than I needed and was a little more difficult to set up and understand (I have little patience). The only other negative is that it tends to take a bit long to link up to satellites. From a minute or two up to about 10 minutes once. I don't know if this is a Tom Tom issue or a Nike issue. So far it hasn't been too big of a problem. Overall this is the perfect watch for me - someone who does a half marathon and some shorter races each year and just needs the basics. I don't swim or bike so I don't know how it rates for that, but I love it for running.

Use this watch inmediatelly it was received. Setup was easy, the Nike website is excellent. The customization of the watch for a run is super.Sinchro with satelite in 1 minute or less(in Puerto Rico out of cont. US) Retrieval of data is simple and Nike website make it easy to see everything you want and to analize. Outstanding watch, will not use any other. Excelent price RRS.

This is a great product a good price and so far GPS works great. I have a Mac computer and had no issues with the download of the program that transfers my workouts to Nike+. I alway use the shoe sensor, I have four of them, so my runs have always tracke.
My only request would be that I was able to differentiate my bike rides and runs on Nike+.

I became a data junkie while using a Garmin 405 until the battery would no longer recharge. This device fits my wrist better and is easy to read, use and upload the data. One thing I don't like is that the interval setting does not include a warm-up or cool-down period in the workout. The website is easy to use but is more for a novice or beginner runner, rather than someone who uses the data for training purposes. The GPS is very accurate.

Been using this for 6 months. Many times it takes 1-2 minutes to connect to the satellites and on the rare occasion it hooks up promptly. This is my biggest complaint. One recent run, I could not link it to the satellites at all. Disappointed since it was my weekend long run. No tall buildings nor many trees where I live/run. Didn't have my shoe sensor since it was an outdoor run. Wish it had a function for cycling so I could separate it from my run training. I end up deleting the cycle workout from nike+ but means I need to write it in a journal instead. As a watch, it's awesome looking with large displays and for a GPS watch, it's not too bulky. Have reservations on the longevity of the plastic hinge cover for the USB connector. Hoping it doesn't break. I'm now into triathlon training (which I wasn't when I purchased the watch). In fairness to Nike, this was never meant to be a triathlon training device so it's not fair to compare it to the Garmin 310XT but wish I bought that instead.

I've used this product 5 times since purchase. I replaced a dead Suunto t3c. I really like the large main display. I got some running reader glasses specifically to be able to see my HRM display but the Nike+ display is large enough that I can see it without readers and in lower light. Even the secondary (upper) display is big enough to see without readers. Nice! My Polar Wearlink transmitter links right up and the GPS only takes 30-40 seconds to link at my home. The only problem I have is the strap is too short for me. I knew this was possible when I bought it but I wanted the other features. I made my own strap extension so I am able to use it but it would be much better if they offered a model for us "big boned" guys or at least a compatible extension.

I was looking for a replacement for my droid app which didn't work real well without service. I looked at a lot of different brands and chose Nike based on my local running store recommendation. This watch is so nice and easy to use. It's intuitive and displays can be changed on the fly. My preference is to view my heart rate and distance at the same time. But I love being able to switch to pace and back again on the fly.

Some reviews talk about it not finding the gps. It did that once to me, then I charged it up, no problem. Just keep it charged and it'll find the gps every time.

Used the product for the first time the other day and it was very easy to set up. Initially you have to pick if you want the gps and the foot tracker but after that it is only a few clicks and you are on your way. Like the comments too at the end of a run. Really provides some additional motivation to get out there and do it all again.

Nike was excellent in the replacement process, less than 30 days. So far the watch performs great, it has become part of my daily run. GPS is very accurate and fast to link. Even under rain with and without a jacket it kept working. Absolutely great.
