Dress material is thin and lightweight. There is no internal shelf bra or other liner (you will need both or capris). The drop-waist styling is different. Uncinched, the dress can be worn as a dress. With the waist cinched, it can be worn as as tunic. I am 5'2" and got the XS and the dress length is good for me.

    I love this dress! It has been so hot lately that I layer it over a tank top and leggings and wear it out. I get so many compliments on it that I got both colors. It is very lightweight and you can wear it different ways with the drawstring waist. It is also a great bathing suit cover up!!!
