I'm always looking for warm running pants that aren't super tight Élike most tights. These pants are great! The fabric is super warm but not heavy. They fit more like a straight leg pant rather than a tight which I love.

I ordered these because I was stuck layering 2 sets of pants in this cold weather pattern which was restricting my movement and still feeling cold. I wore these pants today for a 20 mile run at 20 degrees with cold, gusty winds and my lower body was perfect in terms of temperature and movement. My only reason for rating 4 stars instead of 5 was the sizing. I am 5'2" 112 pounds and these are a bit big even with the drawstring pulled tight. They felt a little like they were falling down. Also a little long for me, but nothing problematic. They are pretty flattering too, which is a nice change from running tights. There is a small zipper pouch in the back, big enough for me to fit a little nutrition. No side pockets though which would be nice. I am happy with these.

I'm a runner from Wisconsin. I got these pants for Christmas and have ran outside at least 10 times since. The average temp when running in these pants was around 15, give or take a few degrees. I never thought once about my legs being cold in these pants. They are amazing! You don't have to wear a tight underneath either. These alone will keep you warm.

I have two pairs and thinking about buying a third! These are warm and comfortable. Makes it a little bit easier to get out of bed on a cold morning for a run.

I absolutely love the Nike Element Thermal Cold Weather Pants and I've only had them for a week. I tested them out on a run in 30 degree weather and they passed with flying colors. The inside is soft but not too heavy or thick, and they didn't chafe or bunch. I wore them again for running errands and now I think I need another pair - one for running, one for wearing around the house or running errands. They are amazingly comfortable! I find them very flattering without being overly snug, but I like a looser fit in my running pants. I'm 5'6", 140 lbs, and the M is perfect - a little bit of room but not sloppy looking. I would give these pants 6 stars if I could!
